Abstract

ABSTRAK ABSTRACT Punctuality is a form of student responsibility in complying with school regulations. However, some ninth-grade students at SMP Negeri 24 Bandar Lampung in the 2025/2026 academic year still exhibit low punctuality. This study aims to determine the effect of group counseling services with the reframing technique on improving student punctuality. This study employed a quantitative approach with a simple experimental method using a One Group Pretest-Posttest design. Seven students were selected using purposive sampling. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was performed using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test with the assistance of IBM SPSS Statistics version 25. The results showed that the average student punctuality score increased from 24 to 42.86 after receiving group counseling services with the reframing technique. The hypothesis test obtained a significance value of 0.018 <0.05, therefore, Ha was accepted and H2 was rejected. Thus, it can be concluded that group counseling services using the reframing technique have an impact on improving the punctuality of ninth-grade students at SMP Negeri 24 Bandar Lampung in the 2025/2026 academic year.
