Abstract

Abstract Studies on the One Day One Juz (ODOJ) program have so far focused more on improving the ability to read the Qur'an and evaluating the tahfidz program, while research that examines ODOJ as a practice of Living Qur'an in Islamic boarding schools. The practice of collectively reading the Qur'an in Islamic boarding schools is not only related to the learning aspect, but also reflects the form of social and cultural understanding of the Qur'an in the daily lives of students. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the One Day One Juz (ODOJ) program at the Al-Hikmah Islamic Boarding School in Bandar Lampung from the perspective of Living Qur'an. The study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through participant observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation. Research informants consisted of the head of the tahfidz program, the manager of the ODOJ program, and students who actively participated in the program. The research analysis uses the Living Qur'an theory from Sahiron Syamsuddin. The results of the study indicate that the ODOJ program not only functions as an activity to read the Qur'an, but also becomes a socio-religious practice that shapes the Qur'anic culture in the Islamic boarding school environment. The implementation of this program has a positive impact on improving the quality of reading, tajwid, memorization, discipline, and consistency of students' interactions with the Qur'an. This study has a novelty in the study of ODOJ as a form of cultural acceptance in the Living Qur'an study in the Islamic boarding school environment, thus Author: Edriagus Saputra, Syamsurizal showing how the Qur'an is brought to life through collective practices that are carried out in a structured and sustainable manner. Abstrak Kajian mengenai program One Day One Juz (ODOJ) selama ini lebih banyak berfokus pada peningkatan kemampuan membaca Al-Qur’an dan evaluasi program tahfidz, sedangkan penelitian yang mengkaji ODOJ sebagai praktik Living Qur’an di lingkungan pesantren.Praktik pembiasaan membaca Al-Qur’an secara kolektif di pesantren tidak hanya berkaitan dengan aspek pembelajaran, tetapi juga mencerminkan bentuk resepsi sosial dan kultural terhadap Al-Qur’an dalam kehidupan sehari-hari santri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi program One Day One Juz (ODOJ) di Pondok Pesantren Al-Hikmah Bandar Lampung dalam perspektif Living Qur’an. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi partisipatif, wawancara semi-terstruktur, dan dokumentasi. Informan penelitian terdiri atas kepala program tahfidz, pengelola program ODOJ, serta santri yang aktif mengikuti program tersebut. Analisis penelitian menggunakan teori Living Qur’an dari Sahiron Syamsuddin. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program ODOJ tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai kegiatan membaca Al-Qur’an, tetapi juga menjadi praktik sosial keagamaan yang membentuk budaya Qur’ani di lingkungan pesantren. Implementasi program ini memberikan dampak positif terhadap peningkatan kualitas bacaan, tajwid, hafalan, kedisiplinan, dan konsistensi interaksi santri dengan Al-Qur’an. Penelitian ini memiliki kebaruan pada kajian ODOJ sebagai bentuk resepsi kultural dalam studi Living Qur’an di lingkungan pesantren, sehingga memperlihatkan bagaimana Al-Qur’an dihidupkan melalui praktik kolektif yang dilakukan secara terstruktur dan berkelanjutan.
