Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak fluktuasi harga komoditas padi terhadap produktivitas pertanian, pendapatan petani, dan kesejahteraan masyarakat desa dalam perspektif ekonomi Islam pada petani padi di Desa Telogorejo, Kecamatan Rawajitu Utara, Kabupaten Mesuji. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis explanatory research. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 70 responden yang dipilih dari populasi 200 kepala keluarga petani padi dengan teknik simple random sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner, observasi, dan wawancara, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji korelasi Spearman dan regresi logistik ordinal dengan bantuan IBM SPSS Statistics 25. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa fluktuasi harga padi tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap produktivitas pertanian. Namun, fluktuasi harga padi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap pendapatan petani. Sementara itu, fluktuasi harga padi tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kesejahteraan masyarakat desa. Dalam perspektif ekonomi Islam, stabilitas harga dan keadilan pasar merupakan hal penting dalam menjaga hifz al-mal serta mewujudkan falah. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan kebijakan yang mampu menjaga stabilitas harga, melindungi petani, dan mendorong kesejahteraan masyarakat secara berkelanjutan. ABSTRACT This study aims to analyze the impact of rice price fluctuations on agricultural productivity, farmers’ income, and rural community welfare from the perspective of Islamic economics among rice farmers in Telogorejo Village, Rawajitu Utara District, Mesuji Regency. This research employed a quantitative approach with an explanatory research design. The sample consisted of 70 respondents selected from a population of 200 rice-farming households using simple random sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires, observation, and interviews, and analyzed using Spearman correlation and ordinal logistic regression with IBM SPSS Statistics 25. The results indicate that rice price fluctuations do not have a significant effect on agricultural productivity. However, rice price fluctuations have a positive and significant effect on farmers’ income. Meanwhile, rice price fluctuations do not have a significant effect on rural community welfare. From the perspective of Islamic economics, price stability and market justice are essential to preserve hifz al-mal and achieve falah. Therefore, policies are needed to maintain price stability, protect farmers, and promote sustainable community welfare.
