Abstract

Kata Kunci: Inflasi, Nilai Tukar, BI 7-Day Repo Rate, Deposito Mudharabah, Bank Umum Syariah. ABSTRACT Mudharabah deposits are an investment instrument in Islamic banking that use a profit-sharing contract, where the amount is influenced by fluctuating macroeconomic conditions. The value of mudharabah deposits reflects customers’ trust in the bank’s stability and is affected by external factors such as purchasing power and monetary policy. This study aims to examine the effect of Inflation, Exchange Rate, and the BI 7-Day Repo Rate on the amount of Mudharabah Deposits in Islamic Commercial Banks registered with the Financial Services Authority (OJK) during the 2020–2024 period. The research method employed is a quantitative approach using secondary data sourced from relevant authorities such as Bank Indonesia, the Financial Services Authority (OJK), and the Central Statistics Agency (BPS). Data analysis was conducted using panel data regression with the assistance of EViews 13 software. The results of the study indicate that partially, the Inflation variable does not have a significant effect on the amount of mudharabah deposits. Similarly, the Exchange Rate variable shows no significant effect, suggesting that exchange rate fluctuations are not a primary consideration for customers when placing funds in this product. On the other hand, the BI 7-Day Repo Rate variable has a positive and significant effect on the amount of mudharabah deposits. This is because the profit-sharing rate in Islamic banks tends to adjust to movements in the benchmark interest rate to maintain competitiveness with conventional banks.
