Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya keaktifan dan hasil belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila di MIN 8 Bandar Lampung. Pembelajaran yang masih berpusat pada guru dan kurangnya penggunaan media yang menarik menyebabkan peserta didik kurang aktif dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Make a Match berbasis media Strip Story. Metode yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan subjek penelitian sebanyak 32 peserta didik kelas IIIA MIN 8 Bandar Lampung. Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus yang meliputi tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes hasil belajar dan lembar observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Make a Match berbasis media Strip Story dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik. Pada Siklus I, rata-rata nilai pretest sebesar 51,6% meningkat menjadi 67,3% pada posttest dengan gain sebesar 15,7%. Pada Siklus II, rata-rata nilai pretest meningkat menjadi 63,1% dan nilai posttest mencapai 79,1% dengan gain sebesar 16,0%. Selain itu, keaktifan peserta didik selama pembelajaran juga meningkat, terlihat dari partisipasi yang lebih aktif dalam diskusi, keberanian menyampaikan pendapat, dan kemampuan bekerja sama dalam kelompok. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Make a Match berbasis media Strip Story efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar Pendidikan Pancasila peserta didik kelas IIIA MIN 8 Bandar Lampung. i This study was motivated by the low level of students’ participation and learning outcomes in Pancasila Education at MIN 8 Bandar Lampung. Teacher-centered learning and the limited use of engaging learning media caused students to be less active during the learning process. This study aimed to improve students’ learning outcomes through the implementation of the Make a Match cooperative learning model assisted by Strip Story media. The research employed Classroom Action Research (CAR) involving 32 students of Class IIIA at MIN 8 Bandar Lampung. The study was conducted in two cycles, each consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. Data were collected through learning achievement tests and observation sheets. The results showed that the implementation of the Make a Match cooperative learning model assisted by Strip Story media improved students’ learning outcomes. In Cycle I, the average pre-test score was 51.6%, which increased to 67.3% in the post-test, with a gain of 15.7%. In Cycle II, the average pre-test score increased to 63.1%, while the post-test score reached 79.1%, with a gain of 16.0%. In addition, students’ learning participation also improved, as indicated by their active involvement in discussions, confidence in expressing opinions, and ability to collaborate in groups. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the Make a Match cooperative learning model assisted by Strip Story media is effective in improving the Pancasila Education learning outcomes of Class IIIA students at MIN 8 Bandar Lampung.
