Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar peserta didik mata pelajaran ipas yang disebabkan kurangnya keterlibatan aktif dalam proses pembelajaran yang masih berpusat pada pendidik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Cooperative tipe Match Connect Learning terhadap hasil belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial (IPAS) peserta didik kelas V. Model Match Connect Learning dipilih karena mampu meningkatkan peserta didik untuk bekerja sama, menemukan hubungan antar konsep, serta meningkatkan partisipasi aktif dalam kegiatan belajar kelas V di SD Negeri 01 Kali Awi. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2025/2026. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode Quasi Ekperimental. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah pretest-postest control group design. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas V, selain itu sampel penelitian terdiri atas kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan tes hasil belajar, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji statistik untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar antara kedua kelompok. Instrumen penelitian ini menggunakan soal uraian sebanyak 20 soal pernyataan yang telah diuji dengan uji validitas dan uji realibilitas, sehingga dapat digunakan sebagai alat ukur yang absah. Analisis data menggunakan SPSS 25 serta menggunakan Uji-t. Pengolahan data dari hasil uji normalitas dan homogenitas menggunakan SPSS 25 diperoleh bahwa data hasil kedua kelas tersebut normal dan homogen. Sehingga pengujian hipotesis dapat digunakan independent T-Test. Pengujian hipotesis menunjukkan model pembelajaran Cooperative tipe Match Connect Learning didapatkan hasil dari uji t nilai sig 2 tailed sebesar 0,020 hal ini berarti menurut kriteria penerimaan H0 dapat diterima jika nilai Sig >0,05, sebaliknya jika nilai Sig <0,05 maka H0 tidak dapat diterima. Dari hasil tes peserta didik didapatkan nilai Sig 2 tailed 0,020<0,05 dapat disimpulkan bahwa H0 ditolak dan H1 dapat diterima atau memiliki pengaruh model Cooperative tipe Match Connect Learning terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar IPAS peserta didik kelas V SD Negeri 01 Kali Awi. ABSTRACT This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of students in science, caused by a lack of active involvement in the teacher-centered learning process. This study aims to determine the effect of the Cooperative Match-Connect Learning model on improving the learning outcomes of fifth-grade students in Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS). The Match-Connect Learning model was chosen because it can encourage students to work together, discover relationships between concepts, and increase active participation in fifth-grade learning activities at SD Negeri 01 Kali Awi. This research was conducted in the even semester of the 2025/2026 academic year. This study used a quantitative approach with a Quasi-Experimental method. The research design used a pretest-posttest control group design. The study population was all fifth-grade students, and the sample consisted of an experimental class and a control class. Data collection techniques used learning outcome tests, observation, and documentation. Data were analyzed using statistical tests to determine differences in learning outcomes between the two groups. The research instrument used 20 descriptive questions that had been tested for validity and reliability, thus serving as a valid measurement tool. Data analysis was performed using SPSS 25 and a t-test. Data processing from the results of normality and homogeneity tests using SPSS 25 showed that the data from both classes were normal and homogeneous. Therefore, an independent ttest could be used for hypothesis testing. The hypothesis testing showed that the Match Connect Learning Cooperative learning model obtained a 2-tailed t-test result of 0.020. This means that according to the acceptance criteria, H0 is acceptable if the Sig value is >0.05. Conversely, if the Sig value is <0.05, H0 cannot be accepted. Based on the results of the student test, the 2-tailed Sig value was 0.020 <0.05. It can be concluded that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, or that the Match Connect Learning Cooperative model has an effect on improving the science learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 01 Kali Awi.
