Abstract
Kata Kunci: Aglomerasi Industri, Tenaga Kerja, Pendapatan Asli Daerah (PAD), Industri Besar, Ekonomi Islam Abstract This study aims to analyze the influence of the number of workers, Regional Original Income (PAD), and the number of large industries on industrial agglomeration in the Southern Sumatra (Sumbagsel) region for the period 2015–2024 from an Islamic economic perspective. The study uses a quantitative approach with panel data covering five provinces in the Sumbagsel region during the study period. Data were obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) and analyzed using panel data regression. Model selection was carried out through the Chow Test, Hausman Test, and Lagrange Multiplier Test, which showed that the Fixed Effect Model (FEM) was the best model. The results of the study indicate that simultaneously the number of workers, PAD, and the number of large industries have a significant effect on industrial agglomeration with an F-statistic probability value of 0.0000 (<0.05). Partially, the number of workers has a negative and significant effect on industrial agglomeration with a coefficient of -0.013961 and a probability of 0.0000 (<0.05). Meanwhile, local revenue (PAD) and the number of large industries did not significantly influence industrial agglomeration, with probability values of 0.6284 and 0.7129 (>0.05), respectively. From an Islamic economic perspective, industrial development is not solely oriented toward economic growth but must also adhere to the principles of justice (al-'adl), balance (tawazun), and welfare (maslahah) so that the benefits of development can be felt equally by the community. Keywords: Industrial Agglomeration, Labor, Locally Generated Revenue (PAD), Large Industries, Islamic Economics.
