Abstract

Abstract The School Health Effort Program (UKS) is an initiative to improve students' health and create a healthy school environment. However, the implementation of UKS has not been fully optimal. This study aims to examine the implementation of the School/Madrasah Health Effort Program (UKS) in creating a healthy school at SMP Negeri 4 Bandar Lampung, focusing on health education, health services, and healthy school environment development. This research used a qualitative descriptive approach. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and documentation with key informants including the principal, UKS teachers, and students. The data were analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results show that the UKS program at SMP Negeri 4 Bandar Lampung has been implemented through health education, health services, and healthy school environment development. Health education is carried out through health counseling and instilling clean and *Corresponding Author ISSN : 2962-9195 E-ISSN : 2963-89922 healthy lifestyle habits. Health services are conducted through the use of the UKS room and collaboration with the local community health center. Healthy school environment development is carried out through class cleaning duties and school cleaning activities. Overall, the implementation of the UKS program at SMP Negeri 4 Bandar Lampung has been running quite well.
