Abstract

ABSTRAK Kemampuan Pemahaman Konsep Matematika sangat diperlukan dalam pembelajaran Matematika. berdasarkan hasil Pra-Penelitian yang dilakukan permasalahan yang melatar belakangi penelitian ini adalah masih rendahnya pemahaman siswa terhadap konsep Matematika. Oleh karena itu, untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut dibutuhkan tambahan model pembelajaran bervariasi sehingga siswa menjadi lebih aktif, memotivasi dan dapat meningkatkan Pemahaman Konsep Matematika siswa pada mata pelajaran Matematika. Hal itu dapat dilihat pada nilai yang diperoleh siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 1 Makartitama pada Pra -Penelitian Persentase sebesar 89% untuk siswa yang mendapatkan nilai dibawah KKTP dan 11% untuk siswa yang mendapatkan nilai diatas KKTP. Oleh karena itu, peneliti melakukan penelitian menggunakan Model Pembelajaran Kontekstual. Rumusan dalam penelitian ini yaitu Apakah terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran kontekstual terhadap pemahaman konsep matematika pada siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 1 Makartitama. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kontekstual terhadap Pemahaman Konsep Matematika pada siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 1 Makartitama. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif eksperimen. Dengan desain eksperimennya yaitu Quasi Experimental Design. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan pretest dan posttest dikelas eksperimen dan kelas control. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SD Negeri 1 Makartitama dengan Teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu purposive sampling. Pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini terdiri dari dua kelompok kelas diantaranya kelas eksperimen dan kelas Kontrol. Dimana kelas eksperimen tersebuut adalah kelas IV B dan kelas Kontrol adalah kelas IV A. Dengan Teknik pengambilan data menggunakan tes. Berdasarakan pengolahan data hasil analisis uji normalitas dan homogenitas diperoleh bahwa kedual kelas sampel tersebut normal dan homogeny. Sehingga untuk mengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji-t dengan taraf signifikan 0,05 (5%) yakni 0,000 < 0,05 yang menyatakan H0 ditolah dan H1 diterima. Sehingga dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari model pembelajaran kontekstual terhadap pemahaman konsep matematika pada siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 1 Makartitama. ABSTRACT The ability to understand mathematical concepts is very necessary in learning Mathematics. Based on the results of the Pre-Research conducted, the problem underlying this research is the still low understanding of students regarding mathematical concepts. Therefore, to overcome this problem, additional varied learning models are needed so that students become more active, motivated, and can improve students' understanding of mathematical concepts in Mathematics subjects. This can be seen from the scores obtained by fourth-grade students of SD Negeri 1 Makartitama in the Pre-Research, with a percentage of 89% for students who scored below the Minimum Competency Criteria (KKTP) and 11% for students who scored above the KKTP. Therefore, the researcher conducted a study using the Contextual Learning Model. The formulation in this research is whether there is an effect of the contextual learning model on the understanding of mathematical concepts in fourth-grade students of SD Negeri 1 Makartitama. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the contextual learning model on the understanding of mathematical concepts in fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 1 Makartitama. This research is an experimental quantitative study. Its experimental design is a Quasi-Experimental Design. This type of research uses a pretest and posttest in the experimental class and the control class. This research was conducted at SD Negeri 1 Makartitama with the sampling technique being purposive sampling. The sample in this study consisted of two class groups, namely the experimental class and the control class. The experimental class was IV B and the control class was IV A. The data collection technique used was a test. The books used were obtained from books about contextual learning models on students' mathematical concept understanding. Based on the data processing from the results of normality and homogeneity tests, it was obtained that both sample classes were normal and homogeneous. Therefore, to test the hypothesis, a t-test was used with a significance level of 0.05 (5%) which is 0.000 < 0.05, indicating that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of the contextual learning model on the understanding of mathematical concepts in fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 1 Makartitama.
