Abstract

ABSTRAK Keberhasilan madrasah ditentukan oleh seorang guru, karena guru adalah pembelajaran, fasilitator, dan pusat inisiatif pembelajaran. Oleh sebab itu guru perlu menjadi perhatian khusus agar dapat mengejar ketinggalan di bidang ilmu (IPTEK). Untuk mewujudkan kinerja guru yang professional diperlukan adanya komponenkomponen yang mendukung. Yang paling penting dalam keberadaan guru sangat berpengaruh terhadap semua sumber daya pendidikan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh sertifikasi guru terhadap peningkatan kinerja guru di MTs Negeri 1 Bandar Lampung. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Sampel yang diambil terdiri dari 55 guru yang telah tersertifikasi lebih dari 2 tahun dengan total jumlah populasi sebanyak 74 guru. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan angket, observasi dan dokumentasi. Uji instrument dengan dilakukan uji validitas dan reliabilitas. Uji prasyarat dalam penelitian ini menggunakan uji normalitas, linieritas, autokorelasi, dan heteroskedesitas. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji analisis regresi linier sederhana dan uji t. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan analisis data mengenai pengaruh sertifikasi guru terhadap peningkatan kinerja guru di MTs Negeri 1 Bandar Lampung diperoleh hasil bahwa pengujian hipotesis menunjukkan nilai t hitung sebesar 12,344 lebih besar dari t tabel sebesar 1,993 dengan tingkat signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05, sehingga Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak. Hasil analisis koefisien determinasi, dihasilkan nilai koofisien determinasi (Adjusted R Square) sebesar 0,737. Hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa besarnya variasi variabel independent dalam mempengaruhi model persamaan regresi adalah sebesar 73,7%. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa sertifikasi guru berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap peningkatan kinerja guru. Sertifikasi guru memberikan dampak positif terhadap peningkatan profesionalisme guru dalam melaksanakan tugas dan tanggung jawabnya sebagai pendidik. Guru yang telah memiliki sertifikasi cenderung menunjukkan kinerja yang lebih baik dalam aspek perencanaan pembelajaran, pelaksanaan pembelajaran, evaluasi pembelajaran, pengembangan kompetensi, serta kerja sama dalam lingkungan pendidikan. ABSTRACT The success of a madrasah (Islamic school) is determined by its teachers, as they are the learning resources, facilitators, and the center of learning initiatives. Therefore, teachers require special attention to help them catch up in science and technology. To achieve professional teacher performance, supporting components are necessary. Most importantly, the presence of teachers significantly influences all educational resources. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of teacher certification on improving teacher performance at MTs Negeri 1 Bandar Lampung. This study used a quantitative approach. The sample consisted of 55 teachers who had been certified for a total population of 74 teachers. Data collection techniques used questionnaires, observation, and documentation. Instrument validity and reliability tests were conducted. Prerequisite tests in this study used normality, linearity, autocorrelation, and heteroscedasticity tests. Data analysis used simple linear regression and t-tests.Based on the research results and data analysis regarding the effect of teacher certification on improving teacher performance at MTs Negeri 1 Bandar Lampung, the hypothesis test revealed a calculated t-value of 12.344, greater than the t-table value of 1.993, with a significance level of 0.000 <0.05. Therefore, Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. The results of the coefficient of determination analysis produced a coefficient of determination (Adjusted R Square) value of 0.737. These results can be concluded that the magnitude of the variation of independent variables in influencing the regression equation model is 73.7%. Therefore, it can be concluded that teacher certification significantly influences teacher performance improvement. Teacher certification has a positive impact on enhancing teacher professionalism in carrying out their duties and responsibilities as educators. Certified teachers tend to demonstrate better performance in aspects of lesson planning, lesson implementation, lesson evaluation, competency development, and collaboration within the educational environment.
