Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan sistem informasi absensi QR Code terhadap kedisiplinan peserta didik di SMP Negeri 2 Bandar Lampung. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain asosiatif kausal. Populasi penelitian seluruh peserta didik sebanyak 1074 orang, dengan jumlah sampel 292 responden ditentukan menggunakan rumus Slovin dan teknik probability sampling jenis simple random sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner skala likert dan dianalisis menggunakan metode SEM PLS dengan SmartPLS versi 4. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa absensi QR Code berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kedisiplinan peserta didik, dengan nilai RSquare 0,441. Uji hipotesis menunjukkan hasil t-statistic 18,459 dan pvalue sebesar 0,000. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sistem absensi yang terintegrasi dan real-time mampu meningkatkan ketepatan waktu, mengurangi kecurangan, serta menumbuhkan tanggung jawab terhadap kewajiban akademik peserta didik. Penelitian ini meyimpulkan bahwa pemanfaatan teknologi informasi dalam manajemen kehadiran menjadi strategi efektif dalam meningkatkan kedisiplinan peserta didik. ABSTRACT This study aims to analyze the effect of the use of the QR Code attendance information system on student discipline at SMP Negeri 2 Bandar Lampung. The study used a quantitative approach whit a causal associative design. The study population was all 1074 students, with a sample of 292 respondents determined using the Slovin formula and simple random sampling probability sampling technique. Data were collected through a Likert scale questionnaire and analyzed using the SEM-PLS method with SmartPLS version 4. The result showed that QR Code attendance had a positive and significant effect on student discipline, with an R-Square value of 0.441. Hypothesis testing showed a t-statistic of 18.459 and a p-value of 0.000. The result of this study indicate that an integrated and real-time attendance system can improve punctuality, reduce cheating, and foster responsibility for students’ academic obligations. This study concludes that the use of information technology in attendance management is an effective strategy in improving student discipline.
