Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Strategi Pembelajaran Circuit Learning Terhadap Pemahaman Siswa Pada Mata Pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam di SMA N1 Gadingrejo. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan desain quasi eksperimen. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 72 siswa yang dibagi menjadi dua kelompok, yaitu kelas XI-7 sebagai kelas eksperimen (menggunakan strategi Circuit Learning) dan kelas XI-8 sebagai kelas kontrol (menggunakan metode konvensional), masing-masing berjumlah 36 siswa. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa 20 butir soal pilihan ganda yang mencakup materi "Bukti Beriman: Memenuhi Janji, Mensyukuri Nikmat, Memelihara Lisan, dan Menutupi Aib Orang Lain." Data dikumpulkan melalui pretest dan posttest, serta dilengkapi dengan observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil uji validitas menunjukkan bahwa seluruh 20 butir soal dinyatakan valid dengan nilai r hitung > r tabel (0,3291), dan uji reliabilitas menghasilkan nilai Cronbach's Alpha sebesar 0,906 yang tergolong sangat tinggi. Uji prasyarat analisis menunjukkan bahwa data berdistribusi normal (Sig. > 0,05), memiliki varians yang homogen (Sig. pretest = 0,105; posttest = 0,324), dan hubungan antar variabel bersifat linear (F hitung = 0,649 < F tabel = 2,04). Hasil uji hipotesis menggunakan Independent Sample t-Test menghasilkan nilai t hitung sebesar 7,778 dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05, sehingga H₀ ditolak dan Hₐ diterima. Terdapat perbedaan rata-rata nilai posttest antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol dengan selisih sebesar 14,722 poin, di mana kelas eksperimen memperoleh hasil yang lebih tinggi. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah strategi pembelajaran Circuit Learning berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap pemahaman siswa pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam di SMA N 1 Gadingrejo. Strategi ini terbukti mampu meningkatkan keaktifan, motivasi, dan pemahaman konsep siswa melalui kegiatan diskusi kelompok, penyusunan peta konsep, pengulangan materi, dan presentasi hasil kerja. The research method used was quantitative with a quasi-experimental design. The sample consisted of 72 students divided into two groups: grades XI-7 as the experimental class (using the Circuit Learning strategy) and grades XI-8 as the control class (using conventional methods), each with 36 students. Sampling was conducted using a purposive sampling technique. The instrument used was 20 multiple-choice questions covering the topic "Evidence of Faith: Fulfilling Promises, Being Grateful for Blessings, Guarding the Word, and Covering Up Others' Disgrace." Data were collected through pretests and posttests, supplemented by observation and documentation. The validity test results showed that all 20 questions were valid with a calculated r value > r table (0.3291), and the reliability test yielded a Cronbach's Alpha value of 0.906, which is considered very high. The prerequisite analysis test showed that the data were normally distributed (Sig. > 0.05), had homogeneous variance (Sig. pretest = 0.105; posttest = 0.324), and the relationship between variables was linear (F count = 0.649 < F table = 2.04). The results of the hypothesis test using the Independent Sample tTest yielded a t-count of 7.778 with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, thus H₀ was rejected and Hₐ was accepted. There was a difference in the average posttest scores between the experimental and control classes, with a difference of 14.722 points, with the experimental class achieving higher results. The conclusion of this study is that the Circuit Learning learning strategy significantly influenced students' understanding of Islamic Religious Education at SMA N 1 Gadingrejo. This strategy was proven to increase student engagement, motivation, and conceptual understanding through group discussions, concept map development, material review, and presentation of work results.
