Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh manajemen lingkungan kampus berkualitas terhadap partisipasi mahasiswa dalam climate action di UIN Raden Intan Lampung. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain asosiatif kausal. Populasi berjumlah 845 mahasiswa dari enam Program Studi Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Keguruan angkatan 2022, dengan sampel sebanyak 272 mahasiswa yang ditentukan melalui teknik stratified random sampling menggunakan rumus Slovin pada tingkat kesalahan 5%. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dan dianalisis menggunakan SEMPLS (SmartPLS 4). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manajemen lingkungan kampus yang berkualitas berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap partisipasi mahasiswa dalam climate action, dengan koefisien jalur sebesar 0,426, nilai t-statistik 7,985 dan pvalues 0,000. Nilai R² sebesar 0,181 menunjukkan bahwa 18,1% variasi partisipasi mahasiswa dapat dijelaskan oleh manajemen lingkungan kampus. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa fungsi manajemen lingkungan kampus yang meliputi perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan dan pengawasan telah berperan dalam mendorong keterlibatan mahasiswa dalam aktivitas climate action. Tetapi, kontribusi pengaruh tersebut masih relatif terbatas. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa partisipasi mahasiswa dalam isu perubahan iklim tidak hanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor individual, tetapi juga dipengaruhi oleh faktor sosial dan kelembagaan yang tercermin dalam kebijakan, program, serta praktik manajemen lingkungan kampus. ABSTRACT This study aims to analyze the influence of high-quality campus environmental management on student participation in climate action at UIN Raden Intan Lampung. This research employs a quantitative approach with a causal associative research design. The population consists of 845 students from six study programs the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training, cohort 2022, with a sample of 272 students determined using stratified random sampling based on the Slovin formula with a 5% margin of error. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using SEM-PLS (SmartPLS 4). The results indicate that high-quality campus environmental management has a positive and significant effect on student participation in climate action, with a path coefficient of 0.426, a tstatistic value of 7.985, and a p-value of 0.000. The R² value of 0.181 indicates that 18.1% of the variance in student participation can be explained by campus environmental management. The findings also show that the functions of campus environmental management including planning, organizing, implementation and monitoring have contributed to encouraging student involvement in climate action activities. However, the magnitude of this influence remains relatively limited. The study further reveals that student participation in climate change issues is influenced not only by individual factors but also by social and institutional factors reflected in campus environmental policies, programs, and management practices.
