Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to analyze the influence of business partnerships and digital competence on the development of Tapis small and medium industries (SMEs) in Bandar Lampung City from an Islamic business perspective. The underlying phenomenon of this research is the slowing growth of the processing industry sector in Bandar Lampung over the past five years and the stilllow ability of Tapis SMEs to utilize digital technology and establish effective business partnerships. However, strong partnerships and technological mastery are crucial factors for increasing competitiveness, efficiency, and business sustainability. This study used a quantitative approach with descriptive methods. The population was Tapis SMEs in Bandar Lampung, who are members of the Tapis craft industry center. The sampling technique used accidental sampling, with 34 respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression to test partial and simultaneous effects between variables. The results indicate that business partnerships have a positive and significant effect on the development of Tapis SMEs. Digital competence has a positive and significant effect on the development of SMEs. Simultaneously, business partnerships and digital competence have a significant effect on the development of Tapis SMEs in Bandar Lampung. From an Islamic business perspective, these results align with the principles of musharaka, justice, and social responsibility, which emphasize the importance of cooperation and capacity building in achieving shared prosperity.
