Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas model pembelajaran aktif melalui metode Question Student Have (QSH) berbantuan media question card dalam meningkatkan minat belajar Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) peserta didik di SMK Negeri 1 Simpang Pematang. Permasalahan yang melatarbelakangi penelitian ini adalah rendahnya perhatian siswa dalam pembelajaran PAI akibat keterbatasan waktu, dominasi minat pada mata pelajaran kejuruan, serta penggunaan metode yang masih konvensional. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain Quasi Experimental dengan model Posttest-Only Control Group Design. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari dua kelas yang dipilih secara acak, yaitu kelas eksperimen yang menerapkan QSH berbantuan question card dan kelas kontrol dengan pembelajaran konvensional. Instrumen penelitian berupa angket skala Likert pada indikator perhatian dengan reliabilitas Alpha Cronbach sebesar 0,84. Data dianalisis melalui uji normalitas, homogenitas, dan uji t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan QSH berbantuan question card berpengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan minat belajar, khususnya aspek perhatian. Kebaruan penelitian ini terletak pada penegasan pentingnya penguatan aspek afektif dalam konteks pendidikan kejuruan yang selama ini lebih berorientasi pada pencapaian kompetensi vokasional dan keterampilan teknis. Penelitian ini menempatkan minat belajar PAI sebagai bagian integral dari pembentukan karakter siswa SMK, sehingga memberikan kontribusi baru yang lebih kontekstual, relevan, dan adaptif terhadap kebutuhan pendidikan kejuruan. ABSTRACT This study aims to examine the effectiveness of an active learning model through the Question Student Have (QSH) method supported by question card media in enhancing students’ interest in learning Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at SMK Negeri 1 Simpang Pematang. The study is motivated by the low level of students’ attention during PAI classes, influenced by limited instructional time, stronger interest in vocational subjects, and the continued use of conventional teaching methods. The research employed a quasiexperimental design using a posttest-only control group model, involving two randomly selected classes: an experimental group taught using QSH assisted by question cards and a control group receiving conventional instruction. Data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire focusing on the attention indicator, with a Cronbach’s Alpha reliability coefficient of 0.84, and were analyzed using normality and homogeneity tests followed by an independent ttest. The findings reveal that the implementation of QSH supported by question cards has a significant positive effect on improving students’ learning interest, particularly in terms of attention. The novelty of this study lies in its emphasis on strengthening the affective dimension within the context of vocational education, which has traditionally focused more on vocational competencies and technical skills. By positioning interest in learning PAI as an integral part of character development among vocational high school students, this research provides a more contextual, relevant, and adaptive contribution to the needs of vocational education
