Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of organizational culture transformation on the development of a competitive and sustainable work ethic among science teachers in Bandar Lampung City. Using a quantitative correlational method, this research examines the relationship between organizational culture (X) and teachers’ work ethic (Y). The sample consisted of 50 junior and senior high school science teachers selected through simple random sampling. Data were collected using a four-point Likert scale questionnaire and analyzed through validity, reliability, normality, Pearson correlation, and simple linear regression tests. The results reveal a positive and significant relationship between organizational culture and work ethic (r = 0.600; p = 0.000), contributing 34,7% to work ethic improvement. ANOVA results (F = 27.000; p = 0.000) indicate a statistically significant regression model. The regression equation Y = 13.647 + 0.735X suggests that each unit increase in organizational culture raises teachers’ work ethic by 0.735 units. Practically, the findings provide valuable insight for school principals and education authorities to design targeted interventions that strengthen organizational culture as a means to enhance teachers professional performance.
