Abstract

Abstract. This study is motivated by the challenge of improving educational quality to support the achievement of Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG 4) at the madrasah level. It aims to analyze quality management strategies based on the Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) cycle in achieving SDG 4 at MAN 2 Bandar Lampung. This research employs a qualitative approach with a case study design using interviews, observations, and documentation as data collection techniques. The findings indicate that the implementation of the PDCA cycle within the framework of Total Quality Management establishes a structured and sustainable quality improvement system. The planning2 stage is conducted through data analysis and participatory program formulation; the implementation stage emphasizes standards-based learning, teacher professional development, and academic supervision; the evaluation stage is carried out through the internal quality assurance system, accreditation processes, and monitoring of academic performance and facilities; while the action stage focuses on continuous improvement and the strengthening of transformational leadership. It is concluded that PDCAbased quality management strategies effectively support the achievement of SDG 4 when implemented consistently and collaboratively. This study implies the strengthening of a continuous improvement-based educational quality management model in madrasahs.
