Abstract

ABSTRAK Permasalahan utama peternak ayam Joper adalah tingginya harga pakan komersial dan belum optimalnya pemanfaatan bahan pakan lokal seperti dedak padi dan daun mengkudu. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh kombinasi dedak padi, tepung daun mengkudu (Morinda citrifolia), dan pakan komersial HI-PRO-VITE terhadap pertambahan bobot badan dan rasio konversi pakan (FCR) ayam Joper jantan. Metode penelitian menggunakan eksperimen kuantitatif dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) terdiri atas 5 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan pada 20 ekor ayam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kombinasi pakan berpengaruh nyata terhadap bobot akhir, pertambahan bobot badan, dan laju pertumbuhan ayam (p < 0,05). Perlakuan terbaik pada pakan formulasi diperoleh P1 (50% HI-PRO-VITE + 20% tepung daun mengkudu + 30% dedak padi) dengan bobot akhir 981 gram dan pertambahan bobot badan 580 gram, mendekati kontrol K+ sebesar 1.018 gram dan 617 gram. Nilai FCR P1 sebesar 1,69 lebih efisien dibanding perlakuan lain dan mendekati kontrol K+ sebesar 1,58. Kesimpulan penelitian menunjukkan kombinasi dedak padi dan tepung daun mengkudu dapat meningkatkan pertumbuhan serta efisiensi penggunaan pakan ayam Joper. ABTRACT The main challenges faced by Joper chicken farmers are the high price of commercial feed and the suboptimal use of local feed ingredients such as rice bran and noni leaves. This study aimed to determine the effect of a combination of rice bran, Morinda citrifolia leaf meal, and HI-PRO-VITE commercial feed on body weight gain and feed conversion ratio (FCR) in male Joper chickens. The research method used a quantitative experiment with a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 5 treatments and 4 replications in 20 chickens. The results showed that the feed combination significantly affected final weight, body weight gain, and growth rate (p < 0.05). The best treatment in the formulated feed was P1 (50% HI-PRO-VITE + 20% noni leaf meal + 30% rice bran), with a final weight of 981 grams and a body weight gain of 580 grams, close to the K+ control of 1,018 grams and 617 grams. The FCR value of P1, 1.69, was more efficient than other treatments and approached the K+ control value of 1.58. The study concluded that the combination of rice bran and noni leaf flour can improve the growth and feed efficiency of Joper chickens.
