Abstract

ABSTRAK Persidangan jarak jauh merupakan inovasi dalam sistem peradilan di indonesia, sering dengan perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi. Implementasi peraturan mahkamah konstitusi nomor 1 tahun 2021 tentang penyelenggara persidangan jarak jauh menawarkan peluah dan tantangan. Peluang yang dimanfaatkan antara lain efisiensi waktu dan biaya aksesibilitas, serta transparansi proses sidang namun, tantangan seperti kesiapan infrastruktur teknologi, keamanan data, dan keterampulan para pihak yang terlibat perlu diatasi. Analisis ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan mengkaji peluang dan tantangan persidangan jarak jauh dalam implementasi peraturan tersebut serta memberi rekomendasi untuk meningkatkan efektifitas dan efisiensi proses persidangan. ABSTRACT Remote trials are an innovation in the Indonesian judicial system, often associated with developments in information and communication technology. The implementation of Constitutional Court Regulation No. 1 of 2021 concerning the implementation of remote trials offers both opportunities and challenges. Opportunities include time and cost efficiency, accessibility, and transparency of the trial process. However, challenges such as technological infrastructure readiness, data security, and the skills of the parties involved need to be addressed. This analysis aims to identify and examine the opportunities and challenges of remote trials in the implementation of this regulation and provide recommendations to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the trial process.
