Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara motivasi belajar dengan kedisiplinan siswa kelas IV di SD Negeri 1 Rantau Tijang. Hipotesis yang dirumuskan dalam penelitian ini adalah ada hubungan positif antara motivasi belajar dengan kedisiplinan siswa, semakin tinggi motivasi belajar, maka semakin tinggi kedisiplinan siswa, dan sebaliknya. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif. Alat ukur yang digunakan yaitu berupa skala motivasi belajar dan skala kedisiplinan siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah Purposive Sampling. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 20 Siswa kelas IV di SD Negeri Rantau Tijang. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 20 siswa. Kemudian terdapat hubungan positif antara motivasi belajar dengan kedisiplinan siswa. Artinya semakin tinggi motivasi belajar maka semakin positif kedisiplinan siswa begitu juga sebaliknya. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji korelasiSpearman’s Rho yang diolah dengan SPSS (Statistical Packages for Social Science) for Windows versi 25. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif antara motivasi belajar dengan kedisiplinan siswa, dengan rxy = 0,272 dengan nilai p= 0,000 < 0,01. Dengan demikian, hipotesis dalam penelitian ini diterima. ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the relationship between learning motivation and discipline among fourth-grade students at Rantau Tijang 1 Public Elementary School. The hypothesis formulated in this study is that there is a positive relationship between learning motivation and student discipline. The higher the learning motivation, the higher the student discipline, and vice versa. The method used in this study was quantitative. The measurement tools used were a learning motivation scale and a student discipline scale. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The population in this study was 20 fourth-grade students at Rantau Tijang 1 Public Elementary School. The sample size in this study was 20 students. Furthermore, there is a positive relationship between learning motivation and student discipline. This means that the higher the learning motivation, the more positive the student discipline, and vice versa. Data analysis was conducted using the Spearman's Rho correlation test, processed with SPSS (Statistical Packages for Social Science) for Windows version 25. The results showed a positive relationship between learning motivation and student discipline, with rxy = 0.272 and a pvalue of 0.000 < 0.01. Thus, the hypothesis in this study was accepted.
