Abstract

ABSTRAK Masjid memiliki peran strategis dalam sejarah dan perkembangan Islam, tidak hanya sebagai tempat pelaksanaan ibadah ritual, tetapi juga sebagai pusat pendidikan, dakwah, dan pembinaan sosial umat. Dalam konteks pendidikan pesantren, masjid dapat dijadikan sebagai basis pengkaderan da’i yang berorientasi pada pembentukan karakter dan perilaku sosial santri. Pengkaderan da’i yang terintegrasi dengan fungsi masjid diharapkan mampu melahirkan kader dakwah yang tidak hanya memiliki kompetensi keilmuan dan kemampuan komunikasi, tetapi juga memiliki kepedulian sosial serta akhlak yang baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi pengkaderan da’i berbasis masjid serta dampaknya terhadap pembentukan perilaku sosial santri di Pondok Pesantren Al Kirom Natar Lampung Selatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan dokumentasi. Informan penelitian terdiri atas pengasuh pondok pesantren, ustadz pembina pengkaderan da’i, pengurus masjid, santri peserta pengkaderan, serta masyarakat sekitar pesantren. Analisis data dilakukan melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan dengan mengacu pada teori dakwah, fungsi masjid, dan teori pembentukan perilaku sosial dalam pendidikan Islam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi pengkaderan da’i berbasis masjid di Pondok Pesantren Al Kirom dilaksanakan secara terencana, terstruktur, dan berkelanjutan. Masjid difungsikan sebagai pusat aktivitas pengkaderan melalui integrasi kegiatan ibadah, pendidikan, dan sosial kemasyarakatan. Pengkaderan da’i dilakukan dengan pendekatan holistik yang menekankan pembiasaan, keteladanan (uswah hasanah), dan praktik langsung dakwah (dakwah bil ḥāl). Implementasi tersebut memberikan dampak positif yang signifikan terhadap pembentukan perilaku sosial santri, yang ditandai dengan meningkatnya kedisiplinan, tanggung jawab, kepedulian sosial, kemampuan bekerja sama, serta kesiapan berinteraksi dengan masyarakat. Lingkungan masjid yang religius dan kondusif berperan efektif dalam proses internalisasi nilai dan pembentukan karakter santri. Kata kunci : Pengkaderan Da’i, Masjid, Perilaku Sosial, Santri, Dakwah. ABSTRACT Mosques play a strategic role in the history and development of Islam, serving not only as places for ritual worship but also as centers for education, preaching, and social development. In the context of Islamic boarding schools (pesantren), mosques can serve as a base for developing da'i (preacher) training, focused on developing the character and social behavior of students. Integrated da'i training with the mosque's function is expected to produce da'i cadres who possess not only scholarly competence and communication skills but also social awareness and good morals. This study aims to analyze the implementation of mosque-based da'i training and its impact on the development of students' social behavior at the Al Kirom Natar Islamic Boarding School in South Lampung. This study used a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data collection was conducted through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation. The research informants included the boarding school administrators, the ustadz (preacher) training instructors, the mosque administrators, the students participating in the training, and the community surrounding the boarding school. Data analysis was conducted through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing, with reference to da'wah theory, the function of mosques, and the theory of social behavior formation in Islamic education. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of mosque-based da'i cadre development at Al Kirom Islamic Boarding School was carried out in a planned, structured, and sustainable manner. The mosque functioned as the center of cadre development activities through the integration of worship, education, and social activities. Da'i cadre development was carried out using a holistic approach that emphasized habituation, exemplary behavior (uswah hasanah), and direct da'wah practice (dakwah bil ḥāl). This implementation had a significant positive impact on the development of students' social behavior, characterized by increased discipline, responsibility, social awareness, ability to cooperate, and readiness to interact with the community. The religious and conducive mosque environment played an effective role in the process of internalizing values and shaping students' character.
