Abstract

ABSTRAK Isu keberlanjutan saat ini menjadi tantangan strategis bagi Bank Umum Syari‟ah di Indonesia, dalam menghadapi tuntutan pembangunan ekonomi yang selaras dengan pelestarian lingkungan. Bank syariah tidak hanya dituntut mencapai kinerja keuangan yang optimal, tetapi juga menjalankan fungsi sosial dan lingkungan sesuai dengan prinsip syariah. Dalam kerangka tersebut, penerapan Green Corporate Governance dan Green Finance dipandang sebagai instrumen penting untuk mendukung terwujudnya Sustainable Governance. Namun, pada praktiknya penerapan kedua konsep tersebut di Bank Umum Syari‟ah (BUS) masih menunjukkan tingkat implementasi yang beragam pada beberapa indikator keberlanjutan, maka dari itu peneliti ingin meneliti apakah penerapan Green Corporate Governance dan Green Finance berpengaruh terhadap Sustainable Governance Bank Syari‟ah di Indonesia dan bagaimana pandangan islam terhadap Green Corporate Governance, Green Finance, dan Sustainable Governance. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif, dengan sumber data yaitu data sekunder. Data tersebut diambil melalui laporan Sustainability Report dan Annual Report Bank Umum Syari‟ah Indonesia (BUS) tahun 2018-2024. Populasi penelitian ini adalah 14 Bank Umum Syari‟ah (BUS) yang terdaftar di OJK, sedangkan sampel penelitian yang digunakan berjumlah 5 Bank Umum Syari‟ah menggunakan Purposive Sampling. Data yang digunakan selama 7 tahun dari tahun 2018-2024 sesuai dengan karakteristik sampel yang digunakan. Teknik pengolahan data yang digunakan menggunakan eviews 13. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Green Corporate Governance berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Sustainable Governance di Bank Umum Syari‟ah, Green Finance berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Sustainable Governance di Bank Umum Syari‟ah, Green Corporate Governance dan Green Finance secara simultan menunjukkan arah pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Sustainable Governance pada Bank Umum Syari‟ah (BUS) selama periode 2018–2024. Selain pengaruhnya yang positif dan signifikan, secara konseptual Islam menekankan kewajiban manusia sebagai khalifah untuk menjaga keseimbangan dan kelestarian lingkungan. ABSTRACT The issue of sustainability is currently a strategic challenge for Sharia Commercial Banks in Indonesia, in facing the demands of economic development that is in line with environmental conservation. Islamic banks are not only required to achieve optimal financial performance, but also carry out social and environmental functions in accordance with sharia principles. Within this framework, the implementation of Green Corporate Governance and Green Finance is seen as an important instrument to support the realization of Sustainable Governance. However, in practice, the application of these two concepts in Sharia Commercial Banks (BUS) still shows a diverse level of implementation in several sustainability indicators, therefore the researcher wants to research whether the implementation of Green Corporate Governance and Green Finance has an effect on the Sustainable Governance of Sharia Banks in Indonesia and how the Islamic view of Green Corporate Governance, Green Finance, and Sustainable Governance. This study uses a type of quantitative research, with the data source being secondary data. The data was taken through the Sustainability Report and Annual Report of the Indonesian Sharia Commercial Bank (SCB) for 2018-2024. The population of this study is 14 Sharia Commercial Banks (BUS) registered with the OJK, while the research sample used is 5 Sharia Commercial Banks using Purposive Sampling. The data used for 7 years from 2018-2024 correspond to the characteristics of the sample used. The data processing technique used used eviews 13. The results of the study show that Green Corporate Governance has a positive and significant effect on Sustainable Governance in Sharia Commercial Banks, Green Finance has a positive and significant effect on Sustainable Governance in Sharia Commercial Banks, Green Corporate Governance and Green Finance simultaneously show the direction of positive and significant influence Sustainable Governance in Sharia Commercial Banks (SCB) during the 2018–2024 period. In addition to its positive and significant influence, conceptually Islam emphasizes the obligation of humans as caliphs to maintain balance and environmental sustainability.
