Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini di latar belakangi oleh kemampuan tajwid santri pada kelas dasar yang masih sangat bervariasi karena latar belakang pendidikan Al-Quran yang berbeda-bedadari jenjang sebelumnya, sehingga pemahaman tajwidnya cenderung belum seragam dan masih dasar. Rendahnya kemampuan tajwid santri juga disebabkan oleh dominasi metode konvensional di kelas serta pelaksanaan kajian AlQur’an rutin yang bersifat massal sehingga kurang fokus pada tingkatan kemampuan santri. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui sejauh mana metode talaqqi dapat meningkatkan kemampuan tajwid santri. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan model PreExperimental menggunakan desain One-Group-Pretest-Postest. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh santri kelas 1 SMP di Pondok Pesantren Al-Qoof Tanggamus yang berjumlah 31 santri. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes lisan dengan membaca surah Al-Waqiah ayat 1-15 yang dinilai oleh dua orang penilai (rater) sesuai dengan indikator penilaian. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji-t (Paired Sample T-Test) dan uji N-Gain Score. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan pada kemampuan tajwid santri. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan nilai ratarata pre-test sebesar 65,94 yang meningkat menjadi 83,06 pada saat post-test. Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan nilai signifikansi (Sig. 2- tailed) sebesar 0,000 < 0,05 yang berarti Ha diterima. Selain itu, perolehan nilai rata-rata N-Gain Score sebesar 0,5151 yang menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan metode talaqqi termasuk dalam kategori cukup efektif. Secara kualitataif, efektivitas ini didorong oleh kualitas pengajaran yang jelas, kesesuaian materi dengan habituasi harian santri, peningkatan motivasi melalui inetraksi langsung (musyafahah), serta pemanfaatan waktu praktik yang optimal. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan metode talaqqi secara fokus dalam kelas efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan tajwid santri di Pondok Psantren Al-Qoof Tanggamus. ABSTRACT This research is motivated by the varying tajwid abilities of students in basic classes, caused by diverse Quranic education backgrounds from their previous levels, leading to non-uniform and basic understanding. The low tajwid proficiency is also attributed to the dominance of the conventional method in the classroom and the implementation of routine Quranic studies in a mass-majlis format, which lacks focus on individual ability levels. The objective of this research is to determine the extent to which the talaqqi method can improve students tajwid skill. This study is a quantitative research using a Pre-Experimental model with a One-Group Pretest-Posttest design. The population in this study consisted of all 31 seventh-grade students (class 1 SMP) at AlQoof Islamic Boarding School, Tanggamus. Data collection was conducted through oral tests by reciting Surah Al-Waqiah verses 1-15, assessed by two raters based on specific evaluation indicators. Data were analyzed using the Paired Sample T-Test and the N-Gain Score test. The results showed a significant improvement in the students' tajwid ability. This is evidenced by the average pre-test score of 65.94, which increased to 83.06 in the post-test. The hypothesis testing results showed a significance value (Sig. 2-tailed) of 0.000 < 0.05, meaning that Ha is accepted. Furthermore, the average N-Gain Score of 0.5151 indicates that the use of the Talaqqi method is categorized as moderately effective. Qualitatively, this this effectiveness was driven by clear instructional quality, the relevance of material to the students’ daily habits, increased motivation through direct interaction (musyafahah), and optimal use of practice time. Thus, it can be concluded that the focused application of the Talaqqi method in the classroom is effective in improving the tajwid proficiency of students at Al-Qoof Islamic Boarding School, Tanggamus.
