Abstract

Abstract: Classroom management is part of teacher competency that plays an important role in supporting the success of the learning process. Effective classroom management is one of the basic teaching skills that aims to create, condition, and maintain a conducive, orderly, and enjoyable learning atmosphere for students. This study aims to determine the implementation of classroom management as the key to the success of the learning process at MAN 1 Lampung Selatan. This study uses a qualitative approach with research subjects including the principal, curriculum deputy, teachers, and students. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews, observations, and documentation. Interviews and observations were used to obtain primary data related to classroom management practices in learning activities. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of classroom management at MAN 1 Lampung Selatan plays an important role in creating a conducive learning environment, improving student discipline, and supporting the optimal achievement2 of learning objectives. Thus, good classroom management not only reflects the professionalism of teachers but also becomes a key factor in the success of the learning process at the madrasah.
