Abstract

ABSTRAK Perkembangan teknologi digital menuntut lembaga pendidikan Islam untuk mampu beradaptasi dalam membangun citra yang positif di tengah persaingan antar lembaga pendidikan. Citra lembaga tidak hanya dibentuk melalui kualitas akademik dan pembinaan karakter, tetapi juga melalui pengelolaan komunikasi dan publikasi berbasis teknologi informasi. SDIT Al-Muhsin Metro sebagai lembaga pendidikan Islam terpadu terus berupaya meningkatkan kepercayaan masyarakat melalui pemanfaatan teknologi digital. Permasalahan penelitian ini dirumuskan dalam pertanyaan mengenai bagaimana proses meningkatkan citra Lembaga Pendidikan islam melalui peran Tim Teknologi Informasi (IT) di SDIT Al-Muhsin Metro. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis proses meningkatkan citra Lembaga Pendidikan islam melalui peran Tim IT di SDIT Al-Muhsin dalam membangun dan memperkuat citra lembaga di mata masyarakat. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian lapangan (field research) dengan sifat penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Sumber data terdiri dari data primer yang diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam dan observasi terhadap kepala sekolah, tim IT, tenaga pendidik, serta pihak terkait, dan data sekunder yang diperoleh melalui dokumentasi, arsip sekolah, serta literatur pendukung. Metode pengelolaan data dilakukan melalui tahapan pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan guna memperoleh gambaran yang sistematis dan mendalam terkait fokus penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Tim IT SDIT Al Muhsin Metro memiliki peran strategis dalam membangun citra positif lembaga melalui pengelolaan media sosial, website sekolah, sistem informasi akademik, serta publikasi kegiatan dan prestasi sekolah secara konsisten. Peran tersebut dilakukan melelui proses komunikasi yang meliputi tahapan persepsi, kognisi, motivasi, dan sikap, di mana publikasi kegiatan dan prestasi sekolah membentuk persepsi positif, meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat, menumbuhkan motivasi kepercayaan, serta mendorong sikap positif terhadap Lembaga. Proses ini memperkuat citra SDIT Al-Muhsin Metro sebagai Lembaga Pendidikan islam yang modern dan terpercaya. Kata Kunci: Tim Teknologi Informasi, Citra, Lembaga Pendidikan Islam iii. ABSTRACT The development of digital technology demands Islamic educational institutions to be able to adapt in building a positive image amidst competition between educational institutions. The image of the institution is not only formed through academic quality and character building, but also through the management of communication and publications based on information technology. SDIT Al-Muhsin Metro as an integrated Islamic educational institution continues to strive to increase public trust through the use of digital technology. The problem of this research is formulated in the question of how the process of improving the image of Islamic educational institutions through the role of the Information Technology (IT) Team at SDIT Al-Muhsin Metro. The purpose of this research is to determine and analyze the process of improving the image of Islamic educational institutions through the role of the IT Team at SDIT Al-Muhsin in building and strengthening the image of the institution in the eyes of the public. This research is a field study with a descriptive qualitative approach. Data sources include primary data obtained through in depth interviews and observations with the principal, IT team, teaching staff, and related parties, and secondary data obtained through documentation, school archives, and supporting literature. Data management methods include data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing to obtain a systematic and in-depth picture of the research focus. The results of the study indicate that the IT Team of SDIT Al Muhsin Metro has a strategic role in building a positive image of the institution through the management of social media, school websites, academic information systems, and consistent publication of school activities and achievements. This role is carried out through a communication process that includes the stages of perception, cognition, motivation, and attitude, where the publication of school activities and achievements forms a positive perception, increases public understanding, fosters motivation and trust, and encourages a positive attitude towards the institution. This process strengthens the image of SDIT Al-Muhsin Metro as a modern and trusted Islamic educational Keywords: Information Technology Team, Image, Islamic Educational Institution.
