Abstract
ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan literasi sains peserta didik pada mata pelajaran Biologi, khususnya materi Keanekaragaman Hayati, yang disebabkan oleh keterbatasan bahan ajar kontekstual serta minimnya media pembelajaran yang mengintegrasikan sains dengan nilai-nilai kearifan lokal. Pembelajaran yang berlangsung cenderung berfokus pada hafalan konsep dan belum memberikan pengalaman belajar bermakna yang mengaitkan sains dengan budaya dan lingkungan sekitar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan, menguji kelayakan, serta menilai kemenarikan dan efektivitas E-Modul Biologi berbasis etnosains Berok dan Seren Taun Kasepuhan Citorek dalam meningkatkan literasi sains peserta didik kelas X SMA. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE yang meliputi tahap Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas ahli materi dan etnosains, ahli media, ahli bahasa, satu guru Biologi, serta peserta didik kelas X SMAN 2 Rangkasbitung. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui angket validasi ahli, angket respon guru dan peserta didik, serta tes literasi sains. Data dianalisis menggunakan teknik deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa E-Modul yang dikembangkan memperoleh kriteria “Sangat Layak”, dengan rata-rata skor validasi ahli materi dan etnosains sebesar 98–99%, ahli media 98%, dan ahli bahasa 97–98%. Respon peserta didik mengalami peningkatan dari 68,57% (kategori baik) pada uji skala terbatas menjadi 95,87% (kategori sangat baik) pada uji skala luas, sedangkan respon guru mencapai 92,08%. Hasil tes literasi sains menunjukkan peningkatan dari 48% (pretes) menjadi 83% (postes) dengan nilai N-Gain 0,67 (kategori sedang menuju tinggi). E-Modul Biologi berbasis etnosains Berok dan Seren Taun Kasepuhan Citorek dinyatakan sangat layak, menarik, dan efektif untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran serta mampu meningkatkan literasi sains peserta didik kelas X SMA. ABSTRACT This research is motivated by the low scientific literacy skills of students in Biology, especially Biodiversity, which is caused by the limitations of contextual teaching materials and the lack of learning media that integrate science with local wisdom values. The ongoing learning tends to focus on memorizing concepts and has not provided meaningful learning experiences that link science with culture and the surrounding environment. This study aims to develop, test the feasibility, and assess the attractiveness and effectiveness of the Biology E-Module based on Berok and Seren Taun Kasepuhan Citorek ethnoscience in improving the scientific literacy of grade X high school students. This study uses the ADDIE development model which includes the stages of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The research subjects consisted of material and ethnoscience experts, media experts, linguists, one Biology teacher, and grade X students of SMAN 2 Rangkasbitung. Data collection was carried out through expert validation questionnaires, teacher and student response questionnaires, and scientific literacy tests. Data were analyzed using quantitative and qualitative descriptive techniques. The results of the study showed that the developed EModule obtained the criteria of "Very Feasible", with an average validation score of material experts and ethnoscience of 98–99%, media experts 98%, and linguists 97–98%. Student responses increased from 68.57% (good category) in the limited scale test to 95.87% (very good category) in the broad scale test, while teacher responses reached 92.08%. The results of the science literacy test showed an increase from 48% (pretest) to 83% (posttest) with an NGain value of 0.67 (moderate to high category). The E-Module of Biology based on Berok and Seren Taun Kasepuhan Citorek ethnoscience was declared very feasible, interesting, and effective for use in learning and was able to improve the science literacy of grade X high school students.
