Abstract
ABSTRACT Hubungan Intensitas Penggunaan Tiktok Live dengan Perilaku Konsumtif Gen Z Pengguna Pay Later Oleh: Candra Andi Prasetyo The rapid development of digital technology and social media, especially TikTok, has changed the patterns of interaction and consumption among the public, particularly Generation Z as the dominant users. The integration of e commerce features and digital financial services such as Paylater on TikTok Live offers convenience, practicality, and instant access to shopping, but on the other hand, it has the potential to encourage consumptive and impulsive behavior. The high intensity of TikTok Live usage, exposure to visual promotions, the influence of influencers, and the ease of payment without direct transactions often trigger purchases that are not based on needs or careful financial considerations. This study aims to determine the relationship between the intensity of TikTok Live usage and the consumptive behavior of Generation Z Paylater users. The sampling technique in this study used purposive sampling involving 116 subjects. The data collection method used a consumptive behavior scale (α = 0.905) and a TikTok Live usage intensity scale (α = 0.885) that had been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis was performed using Pearson's product moment correlation test with the help of JASP software. The results showed a correlation value of r = -0.064 with a significance of p = 0.494 > 0.05, which means that there is no significant relationship between the intensity of Tiktok Live usage and the consumptive behavior of Generation Z Paylater users. Keywords: Intensity of Tiktok Live Usage, Consumptive Behavior, Generation Z, Paylater.
