Abstract

Abstrak Kekerasan dalam rumah tangga (KDRT) merupakan permasalahan sosial yang berdampak serius terhadap kondisi psikologis korban, khususnya perempuan dan anak. Dampak tersebut meliputi trauma, kecemasan, ketakutan, rendahnya kepercayaan diri, serta ketidakmampuan korban dalam mengambil keputusan secara mandiri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses dan hasil peran konselor dalam mengatasi dampak psikologis pada korban kekerasan dalam rumah tangga di UPTD PPA Kabupaten Way Kanan. Rumusan masalah: 1. Bagaimana proses peran konselor dalam mengatasi dampak psikologis pada korban kekerasan rumah tangga di UPTD PPA Kabupaten Way Kanan? 2. Bagaimana hasil setelah dilakukan peran konselor dalam mengatasi dampak psikologis pada korban kekerasan dalam rumah tangga di UPTD PPA Kabupaten Way Kanan?. Dengan tujuan penelitian: 1. Untuk mengetahui proses peran konselor dalam mengatasi dampak psikologis pada korban kekerasan dalam rumah tangga di UPTD PPA Kabupaten Way Kanan. 2. Untuk mengetahui hasil peran konselor dalam mengatasi dampak psikologis pada korban kekerasan dalam rumah tangga di UPTD PPA Kabupaten Way Kanan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian lapangan (field research) yang bersifat deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara terstruktur, observasi non-partisipan, dan dokumentasi, dengan informan terdiri dari konselor dan korban KDRT. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran konselor di UPTD PPA Kabupaten Way Kanan dilaksanakan secara komprehensif melalui fungsi sebagai fasilitator, motivator, dan mediator. Konselor berperan penting dalam melakukan asesmen psikologis, memberikan pendampingan konseling berkelanjutan, memfasilitasi akses layanan terpadu, serta memperkuat motivasi dan kemandirian korban. Pendekatan yang digunakan bersifat victim-centered dan berorientasi pada pemberdayaan korban, sehingga mampu menurunkan gejala trauma, meningkatkan kepercayaan diri, membangun keberanian mengambil keputusan, serta menumbuhkan harapan masa depan korban. Dengan demikian, peran konselor di UPTD PPA Kabupaten Way Kanan tidak hanya berfokus pada penyelesaian kasus, tetapi juga pada pemulihan psikologis yang berkelanjutan dan pemutusan siklus kekerasan dalam rumah tangga Kata Kunci: Peran Konselor, Dampak Psikologis, Kekerasan Dalam Rumah Tangga, UPTD PPA, Korban KDRT. Abstract Domestic violence (DV) is a social problem that has serious impacts on the psychological condition of victims, particularly women and children. These impacts include trauma, anxiety, fear, low self confidence, and the inability of victims to make independent decisions. This study aims to examine the process and outcomes of the counselor’s role in addressing the psychological impacts on victims of domestic violence at the UPTD PPA of Way Kanan Regency. The research problems are: (1) How is the process of the counselor’s role in addressing the psychological impacts on victims of domestic violence at the UPTD PPA of Way Kanan Regency? (2) What are the outcomes after the counselor’s role is implemented in addressing the psychological impacts on victims of domestic violence at the UPTD PPA of Way Kanan Regency? Accordingly, the objectives of this study are: (1) to determine the process of the counselor’s role in addressing the psychological impacts on victims of domestic violence at the UPTD PPA of Way Kanan Regency, and (2) to identify the outcomes of the counselor’s role in addressing the psychological impacts on victims of domestic violence at the same institution. This study employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive field research design. Data were collected through structured interviews, non participant observation, and documentation, with informants consisting of counselors and victims of domestic violence. The results indicate that the role of counselors at the UPTD PPA of Way Kanan Regency is carried out comprehensively through their functions as facilitators, motivators, and mediators. Counselors play an important role in conducting psychological assessments, providing continuous counseling assistance, facilitating access to integrated services, and strengthening victims’ motivation and independence. The approach applied is victim-centered and empowerment-oriented, enabling a reduction in trauma symptoms, an increase in self-confidence, the development of courage in decision making, and the growth of hope for the victims’ future. Therefore, the role of counselors at the UPTD PPA of Way Kanan Regency not only focuses on case resolution but also on sustainable psychological recovery and breaking the cycle of domestic violence.
