Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang antarmuka pengguna (User Interface dan User Experience) aplikasi visualisasi informasi sekolah tingkat SMA/SMK di Provinsi Lampung yang informatif, efisien, dan mudah digunakan oleh pengguna. Perkembangan teknologi informasi mendorong meningkatnya kebutuhan masyarakat terhadap akses informasi pendidikan yang cepat, akurat, dan mudah dipahami. Namun, informasi mengenai sekolah SMA/SMK di Provinsi Lampung masih tersebar di berbagai sumber digital dan belum terintegrasi dalam satu platform. Kondisi ini menyulitkan calon siswa, orang tua, dan masyarakat umum dalam memperoleh informasi mengenai profil sekolah, fasilitas, jurusan, prestasi, lokasi, serta kontak sekolah secara efisien. Metode yang digunakan adalah Design Thinking yang meliputi tahapan empathize, define, ideate, prototype, dan test. Penelitian difokuskan pada pembuatan prototipe interaktif, bukan pada pengembangan sistem yang berfungsi penuh secara teknis. Perancangan antarmuka dilakukan menggunakan Figma dengan melibatkan pengguna potensial sebagai responden untuk mengidentifikasi kebutuhan dan kendala pengguna. Hasil penelitian menghasilkan prototipe aplikasi dengan fitur utama berupa dashboard informasi sekolah, fasilitas, jurusan, prestasi, ekstrakurikuler, peta lokasi sekolah, fitur kontak dan chat, serta halaman admin untuk pengelolaan data. Pengujian menggunakan metode field task-based testing menunjukkan tingkat keberhasilan penyelesaian tugas sebesar 96,15% dari 72 tugas, yang termasuk kategori sangat baik. Dengan demikian, metode Design Thinking terbukti efektif dalam menghasilkan desain UI/UX aplikasi visualisasi informasi sekolah yang memenuhi aspek usability dan mendukung pengalaman pengguna, serta berpotensi dikembangkan menjadi sistem informasi pendidikan berbasis web yang terintegrasi di Provinsi Lampung. ABSTRACT This study aims to design a user interface and user experience (UI/UX) for a school information visualization application for senior and vocational high schools (SMA/SMK) in Lampung Province that is informative, efficient, and easy to use. The rapid development of information technology has increased public demand for fast, accurate, and easily understandable access to educational information. However, information about SMA/SMK schools in Lampung Province is still scattered across various digital sources and has not been integrated into a single platform. This condition makes it difficult for prospective students, parents, and the general public to efficiently obtain information on school profiles, facilities, majors, achievements, locations, and contact details. This research applies the Design Thinking method, which includes the stages of empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test. The study focuses on developing an interactive prototype rather than a fully functional technical system. The interface design was conducted using Figma and involved potential users as respondents to identify user needs and challenges. The results produced an application prototype with key features such as a school information dashboard, facilities, majors, achievements, extracurricular activities, map-based school locations, contact and chat features, and an admin page for data management. Evaluation using the field task-based testing method showed a task completion success rate of 96.15% out of 72 tasks, which falls into the very good category. In conclusion, the Design Thinking method is effective in producing a UI/UX design that meets usability standards and supports user experience, and it has the potential to be further developed into an integrated web-based educational information system in Lampung Province.
