Abstract

ABSTRAK Proses pemilihan dosen terbaik pada Program Studi Sistem Informasi UIN Raden Intan Lampung selama ini masih dilakukan secara manual, sehingga berpotensi menimbulkan subjektivitas, kurang transparan, dan belum terstruktur dengan baik. Kondisi tersebut menyulitkan pihak program studi dalam menentukan dosen terbaik secara objektif berdasarkan kriteria kinerja yang telah ditetapkan. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan suatu sistem pendukung keputusan yang mampu membantu proses pemilihan dosen terbaik secara sistematis dan berbasis data. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan Sistem Pendukung Keputusan (SPK) berbasis web dalam pemilihan dosen terbaik dengan menggunakan metode Simple Additive Weighting (SAW). Metode pengembangan sistem yang digunakan adalah Waterfall, yang meliputi tahapan analisis kebutuhan, perancangan sistem, implementasi, dan pengujian. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui kuesioner Evaluasi Dosen oleh Mahasiswa (EDOM), wawancara, serta dokumentasi kegiatan publikasi ilmiah, pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PKM), dan peningkatan kompetensi dosen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem yang dikembangkan mampu melakukan perhitungan dan pemeringkatan dosen terbaik secara akurat. Pengujian sistem menggunakan Blackbox Testing menunjukkan seluruh fungsi sistem berjalan dengan baik, sedangkan pengujian System Usability Scale (SUS) menunjukkan bahwa sistem berada pada kategori layak digunakan. Dengan demikian, sistem pendukung keputusan berbasis web ini dapat membantu Program Studi Sistem Informasi UIN Raden Intan Lampung dalam melakukan pemilihan dosen terbaik secara objektif, transparan, dan efisien. This condition makes it difficult for the study program to determine the best lecturer objectively based on the established performance criteria. Therefore, a decision support system is needed to assist the selection process of the best lecturer in a systematic and data-driven manner. This study aims to develop a web-based Decision Support System (DSS) for selecting the best lecturer using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method. The system development method used is the Waterfall model, which includes the stages of requirements analysis, system design, implementation, and testing. The research data were obtained through Lecturer Evaluation by Students (EDOM) questionnaires, interviews, and documentation of scientific publications, community service activities (PKM), and lecturer competency improvement. The results show that the developed system is able to accurately calculate and rank the best lecturers. System testing using Blackbox Testing indicates that all system functions run properly, while testing using the System Usability Scale (SUS) shows that the system falls into the acceptable usability category. Therefore, this web-based decision support system can assist the Information Systems Study Program at UIN Raden Intan Lampung in selecting the best lecturer objectively, transparently, and efficiently.
