Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan penerimaan remitansi, jumlah kunjungan wisatawan, foreign direct investment, ekspor dan gross domestic product negara-negara anggota ASEAN yang mengalami fluktuatif sejak 8 tahun terakhir yaitu dari tahun 2017 hingga 2024 yang mempengaruhi terjadinya fluktuatif pula pada cadangan devisa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pendekatan secara kuantitatif. Data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 8 tahun sejak tahun 2017 hingga 2024. Sampel yang digunakan metode sampel jenuh yaitu menggunakan 10 negara-negara anggota ASEAN. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi data panel yang diolah menggunakan Eviews 10. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel penerimaan remitansi berpengaruh negatif, gross domestic product berpengaruh positif terhadap cadangan devisa negara-negara anggota ASEAN tahun 2017-2024, tetapi jumlah kunjungan wisatawan, foreign direct investment dan ekspor tidak berpengaruh terhadap cadangan devisa negara-negara anggota ASEAN tahun 2017-2024. Secara bersamasama/serempak variabel penerimaan remitansi, jumlah kunjungan wisatawan, foreign direct investment, ekspor dan gross domestic product berpengaruh secara simultan terhadap cadangan devisa negara-negara anggota ASEAN tahun 2017-2024. Perspektif ekonomi Islam mengenai penerimaan remitansi, jumlah kunjungan wisatawan, foreign direct investment, ekspor dan gross domestic product terhadap cadangan devisa negara-negara anggota ASEAN tahun 2017-2024 yaitu temuan empiris bahwa penerimaan remitansi, jumlah kunjungan wisatawan, foreign direct investment, ekspor dan gross domestic product memengaruhi cadangan devisa sesuai dengan perspektif ekonomi Islam dikarenakan sumber dan penggunaan devisa itu halal, tidak melibatkan riba atau kegiatan haram, dan diarahkan untuk kesejahteraan serta pembangunan produktif. ABSTRACT This study aims to describe the fluctuations in remittance receipts, tourist arrivals, foreign direct investment, exports, and gross domestic product of ASEAN member countries over the past eight years, from 2017 to 2024, which also influence fluctuations in foreign exchange reserves. This study uses a quantitative approach. The data used are secondary data. The population in this study spans eight years, from 2017 to 2024. The sample used is a saturated sampling method, consisting of 10 ASEAN member countries. Data analysis used panel data regression analysis processed using Eviews 10. The results of this study indicate that the variable of remittance receipts has a negative effect, gross domestic product has a positive effect on the foreign exchange reserves of ASEAN member countries in 2017-2024, but the number of tourist visits, foreign direct investment and exports do not affect the foreign exchange reserves of ASEAN member countries in 2017-2024. Together/simultaneously the variables of remittance receipts, the number of tourist visits, foreign direct investment, exports and gross domestic product have a simultaneous effect on the foreign exchange reserves of ASEAN member countries in 2017-2024. The Islamic economic perspective on remittance receipts, the number of tourist visits, foreign direct investment, exports and gross domestic product on the foreign exchange reserves of ASEAN member countries in 2017-2024 is an empirical finding that remittance receipts, the number of tourist visits, foreign direct investment, exports and gross domestic product affect foreign exchange reserves in accordance with the Islamic economic perspective because the source and use of foreign exchange are halal, do not involve usury or haram activities, and are directed towards welfare and productive development.
