Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa di MIN 2 Lampung Selatan yang disebabkan oleh pembelajaran yang masih bersifat konvensional dan berpusat pada guru. Model Project Based Learning (PJBL) dipilih karena dinilai mampu mendorong siswa untuk berpikir kreatif melalui kegiatan proyek yang kontekstual dan berorientasi pada pemecahan masalah nyata. Berdasarkan permasalahan yang telah dipaparkan, maka didapatkan rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini yaitu, “Apakah terdapat pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Project Based Learning (PJBL) Terhadap Kemampuan Berpikir Kreatif Siswa Di MIN 2 Lampung Selatan?”. Berdasarkan rumusan masalah yang telah diuraikan, maka tujuan penelitian ini yaitu, “Untuk Mengetahui Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Project Based Learning (PJBL) Terhadap Kemampuan Berpikir Kreatif Siswa Di MIN 2 Lampung Selatan”. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain Quasi Experimental Tipe Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V MIN 2 Lampung Selatan tahun ajaran 2025/2026 yang terdiri dari 90 siswa, sedangkan sampel penelitian diambil dua kelas, yaitu kelas VA sebagai kelas eksperimen yang diajar dengan model PJBL dan kelas VC sebagai kelas kontrol yang diajar menggunakan model Discovery Learning. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes berpikir kreatif dengan indikator fluency, flexibility, dan originality. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji normalitas, homogenitas, dan uji-t independen dengan taraf signifikansi 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tujuan penelitian berhasil tercapai, ditunjukkan oleh adanya perbedaan yang signifikan antara kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Hasil uji-t independen menunjukkan nilai Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 < 0,05, yang berarti terdapat pengaruh signifikan penerapan model Project Based Learning (PJBL) terhadap peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa. Dengan demikian, hasil ini menjawab rumusan masalah penelitian dan membuktikan bahwa PJBL efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran energi alternatif di MIN 2 Lampung Selatan, sekaligus mendukung pengembangan pembelajaran yang lebih aktif, kreatif, dan kontekstual di lingkungan madrasah. Kata kunci: Berpikir Kreatif, IPAS, Project Based Learning. ii ABSTRACT This research is motivated by the low creative thinking skills of students at MIN 2 South Lampung, which is caused by conventional, teacher-centered learning. The Project-Based Learning (PJBL) model was chosen because it is considered capable of encouraging students to think creatively through contextual project activities oriented towards solving real-life problems. Based on the problems described, the research problem formulation is: "Is there an influence of the Project-Based Learning (PJBL) Model on Students' Creative Thinking Skills at MIN 2 South Lampung?" Based on the problem formulation described, the purpose of this study is: "To determine the influence of the Project-Based Learning (PJBL) Model on Students' Creative Thinking Skills at MIN 2 South Lampung." The research method used is a quantitative approach with a Quasi-Experimental Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population of this study was all 90 fifth-grade students at MIN 2 South Lampung in the 2025/2026 academic year. Two classes were sampled: Class VA, the experimental class taught using the Project-Based Learning (PJBL) model, and Class VC, the control class taught using the Discovery Learning model. Data collection was conducted using a creative thinking test with indicators of fluency, flexibility, and originality. Data were analyzed using normality tests, homogeneity tests, and an independent t-test with a significance level of 0.05. The results showed that the research objectives were achieved, as evidenced by a significant difference between the creative thinking abilities of students in the experimental and control classes. The independent t-test results showed a Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000 <0.05, indicating a significant effect of the implementation of the Project-Based Learning (PJBL) model on improving students' creative thinking abilities. Thus, these results answer the formulation of research problems and prove that PJBL is effectively used in alternative energy learning at MIN 2 South Lampung, while also supporting the development of more active, creative, and contextual learning in the madrasah environment.
