Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan hasil belajar peserta didik pada pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial (IPAS) yang cenderung rendah. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa peserta didik masih mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami konsep konsep IPAS, sehingga diperlukan model pembelajaran yang menarik dan efektif. Salah satu alternatif yang digunakan adalah model pembelajaran Picture and Picture, yang menekankan penggunaan media gambar untuk membantu peserta didik memahami materi secara visual dan kontekstual. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Picture and Picture terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik kelas V di MIN 12 Bandar Lampung. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode Quasi Experimental Design menggunakan rancangan Posttest Only Control Group Design. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari dua kelas, yaitu kelas V A sebagai kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan model pembelajaran Picture and Picture dan kelas V C sebagai kelas kontrol yang menggunakan model Make a Match, dengan jumlah keseluruhan sampel sebanyak 52 peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata nilai hasil belajar kelas eksperimen sebesar 80,96, sedangkan rata-rata nilai kelas kontrol sebesar 59,61. Berdasarkan hasil uji-t (Independent Sample T Test) dengan bantuan program SPSS Statistik 26 diperoleh nilai signifikansi (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 < 0,05, yang menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara hasil belajar kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Dengan demikian, penerapan model pembelajaran Picture and Picture berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar IPAS peserta didik kelas V di MIN 12 Bandar Lampung. This indicates that students still experience difficulties in understanding IPAS concepts, necessitating the need for engaging and effective learning models. One alternative is the Picture and Picture learning model, which emphasizes the use of visual media to help students understand the material visually and contextually. This study aimed to determine the effect of the Picture and Picture learning model on the learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at MIN 12 Bandar Lampung. This study employed a quantitative method using a Quasi-Experimental Design using a Posttest Only Control Group Design. The study subjects consisted of two classes: Class VA as the experimental class using the Picture and Picture learning model and Class VC as the control class using the Make a Match model, with a total sample size of 52 students. The results showed that the average learning outcome score for the experimental class was 80.96, while the average score for the control class was 59.61. Based on the results of the Independent Sample T-Test (T-Test) using SPSS Statistics 26, a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.000 < 0.05 was obtained, indicating a significant difference between the learning outcomes of the experimental and control classes. Therefore, the implementation of the Picture and Picture learning model had a positive and significant effect on improving the science learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at MIN 12 Bandar Lampung.
