Abstract

ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan program literasi sekolah dan kontribusinya terhadap aksesibilitas informasi siswa di SMA Negeri 1 Pasir Sakti Kabupaten Lampung Timur, dengan fokus pada program Literasi Jumat Pagi. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya budaya literasi di sekolah serta keterbatasan akses informasi yang dialami siswa akibat koleksi bacaan yang terbatas, kurang relevan dengan kebutuhan, serta pelaksanaan literasi yang belum konsisten sesuai pedoman Gerakan Literasi Sekolah (GLS). Program Literasi Jumat Pagi dipilih karena menjadi kegiatan utama literasi, namun pelaksanaannya hanya sekali dalam seminggu dengan sistem rotasi kelas, sehingga belum sepenuhnya membentuk kebiasaan membaca. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori literasi sekolah dari Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan dengan tiga indikator yaitu pembiasaan, pengembangan, dan pembelajaran serta teori aksesibilitas informasi dari Beverly K. Kahn yang diperluas oleh Cullen dan Van Dijk dengan lima indikator, yaitu kemudahan akses, ketersediaan informasi, ketepatan informasi, kecepatan akses, dan ketersediaan fasilitas pendukung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Subjek penelitian meliputi koordinator literasi, pustakawan, guru, dan siswa. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi, lalu dianalisis menggunakan model interaktif Miles dan Huberman melalui tahap reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program literasi di SMA Negeri 1 Pasir Sakti meliputi kegiatan Tadarus Al-Qur’an, One Person One Juz, Mading, Literasi Budaya, serta Literasi Jumat Pagi. Program Literasi Jumat Pagi terbukti berkontribusi dalam membiasakan siswa membaca, mengembangkan keterampilan literasi, dan membentuk budaya literasi sekolah. Namun, aksesibilitas informasi masih menghadapi kendala, terutama keterbatasan jumlah dan variasi koleksi bacaan, kurangnya relevansi dengan kurikulum, serta layanan informasi yang masih manual. Meskipun demikian, peran guru, pustakawan, serta fasilitas seperti pojok baca dan perpustakaan tetap mendukung ketercapaian tujuan literasi. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa Literasi Jumat Pagi berperan positif terhadap penguatan budaya literasi dan aksesibilitas informasi siswa, meskipun masih diperlukan peningkatan koleksi bacaan, pemanfaatan teknologi, serta konsistensi pelaksanaan agar tujuan literasi dapat tercapai secara optimal. Kata Kunci: Aksesibilitas Informasi, Budaya Literasi Koleksi Perpustakaan, Program Literasi Sekolah ii ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of the school literacy program and its contribution to student information accessibility at SMA Negeri 1 Pasir Sakti, East Lampung Regency, with a focus on the Friday Morning Literacy program. This research is motivated by the low literacy culture in schools and the limited access to information experienced by students due to a limited collection of reading materials, which are often irrelevant to their needs, as well as inconsistent implementation of literacy programs in accordance with the guidelines of the School Literacy Movement (GLS). The Friday Morning Literacy Program was chosen because it is the main literacy activity, but its implementation is only once a week with a class rotation system, so it has not yet fully established a reading habit. This study uses the school literacy theory from the Ministry of Education and Culture with three indicators, namely habit formation, development, and learning, as well as the information accessibility theory from Beverly K. Kahn, expanded by Cullen and Van Dijk with five indicators, namely ease of access, availability of information, accuracy of information, speed of access, and availability of supporting facilities. The research method used was qualitative with a descriptive approach. The research subjects included literacy coordinators, librarians, teachers, and students. Data was collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, then analyzed using Miles and Huberman's interactive model through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The research results indicate that the literacy program at SMA Negeri 1 Pasir Sakti includes activities such as Quran recitation, One Person One Juz, bulletin boards, cultural literacy, and Friday Morning Literacy. The Friday Morning Literacy Program has proven to contribute to fostering students' reading habits, developing literacy skills, and shaping the school's literacy culture. However, information accessibility still faces challenges, particularly the limited quantity and variety of reading materials, lack of relevance to the curriculum, and manual information services. Despite this, the roles of teachers, librarians, and facilities such as reading corners and libraries continue to support the achievement of literacy goals. Thus, this study concludes that the Friday Morning Literacy Program has a positive impact on strengthening literacy culture and information accessibility for students, although improvements are still needed in terms of reading material collections, technology utilization, and consistency in implementation to achieve literacy goals optimally.
