Abstract

ABSTRAK Berdasarkan hasil pra penelitian yang dilakukan permasalahan yang melatar belakangi penelitian ini adalah masih rendahnya pemahaman konsep matematika peserta didik disebabkan peserta didik kurang aktif dan mudah jenuh dalam pembelajaran matematika. Pendidik telah menerapkan berbagai jenis model pembelajaran tetapi belum bisa memaksimalkan pemahaman konsep matematika peserta didik. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut peneliti menawarkan solusi berupa penggunaan model pembelajaran problem posing berbantuan media question box. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran problem posing berbantuan media question box terhadap pemahaman konsep matematika peserta didik kelas V di MIN 11 Bandar Lampung. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan pendekatan kuantitatif, jenis eksperimen yang digunakan adalah quasy eksperimental posttes only control design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas V di MIN 11 Bandar Lampung, teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini mengggunakan teknik random sampling, pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan pemberian test dengan teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji hipotesis. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian bahwa dapat dilihat dari nilai pemahaman konsep matematika siswa kelas V. pemahaman konsep matematika siswa kelas ekperimen didapatkan nilai rata-rata 72%, sedangkan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa kelas kontrol didapatkan nilai rata-rata 59%. Menurut hasil penelitian diperoleh signifikasi pemahaman konsep matematika siswa menunjukkan 0,002 < 0,05 dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran problem posing berbantuan media question box berpengaruh terhadap pemahaman konsep matematika peserta didik kelas V di MIN 11 Bandar Lampung. Kata Kunci : Model Pembelajaran Problem Posing, Media Question Box, Pemahaman Konsep Matematika ii ABSTRACT Based on the results of the pre-research, the underlying problem of this study is the low level of students' understanding of mathematical concepts due to their lack of activity and easily boredom in mathematics lessons. Educators have implemented various learning models, but have not been able to maximize students' understanding of mathematical concepts. Based on this problem, the researchers propose a solution in the form of using a problem-posing learning model assisted by a question box. This study aims to determine the effect of the problem-posing learning model assisted by a question box on the understanding of mathematical concepts of fifth-grade students at MIN 11 Bandar Lampung. This study used an experimental research approach with a quantitative approach. The experiment used a quasi-experimental posttest-only control design. The population in this study were fifth grade students at MIN 11 Bandar Lampung. The sampling technique used was random sampling. Data collection was carried out by administering tests, with data analysis techniques including normality tests, homogeneity tests, and hypothesis testing. Based on the research results, it can be seen from the mathematical concept understanding scores of fifth-grade students. The experimental class obtained an average score of 72%, while the control class obtained an average score of 59%. According to the research results, the significance of students' mathematical concept understanding showed 0.002 <0.05. It can be concluded that the problem posing learning model assisted by question box media has an effect on the mathematical concept understanding of fifth-grade students at MIN 11 Bandar Lampung.
