Abstract

ABSTRAK Masa remaja merupakan tahap penting dalam pembentukan karakter dan masa depan seseorang. Namun, masih banyak remaja di Indonesia, khususnya di Provinsi Lampung, yang mengalami putus sekolah akibat berbagai faktor seperti kondisi ekonomi, lingkungan sosial, dan kurangnya akses pendidikan sehingga menyebabkan banyak remaja tidak memiliki kesempatan mengembangkan potensi diri dengan baik. Kondisi ini berdampak pada rendahnya kesiapan kerja remaja, seperti minimnya keterampilan kerja, kurangnya informasi karir, ketidaktahuan dalam menentukan pilihan karir yang sesuai dengan minat dan bakatnya, serta merasa takut menghadapi dunia kerja. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan upaya strategis untuk membekali remaja dengan pendidikan dan keterampilan melalui jalur pendidikan nonformal, salah satunya melalui layanan bimbingan karir. UPTD Pelayanan Sosial Bina Remaja Radin Intan Bandar Lampung hadir sebagai lembaga yang memberikan layanan bimbingan karir dan pelatihan keterampilan bagi remaja putus sekolah agar mampu mengenali potensi diri, mengembangkan keterampilan, dan merencanakan karir secara lebih terarah. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, penelitian ini dirumuskan untuk menjawab bagaimana implementasi bimbingan karir dalam meningkatkan kesiapan kerja remaja di UPTD Pelayanan Sosial Bina Remaja Radin Intan Bandar Lampung, dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui secara menyeluruh proses pelaksanaan dan dampaknya terhadap kesiapan kerja remaja binaan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian lapangan (Field research), yang bersifat deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 10 orang diantaranya, 7 remaja binaan yang belum memiliki kesiapan kerja secara optimal, 2 orang pembimbing, 1 pekerja sosial. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu, wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Kemudian teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah dengan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dalam pelaksanaan bimbingan karir di UPTD Pelayanan Sosial Bina Remaja Radin Intan Bandar Lampung dilakukan melalui beberapa tahapan, yaitu tahap awal berupa asesmen kebutuhan remaja, tahap perencanaan program, tahap pelaksanaan kegiatan, tahap resosialisasi dan terminasi, serta tahap evaluasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat diketahui bahwa pelaksanaan bimbingan karir di UPTD Pelayanan Sosial Bina Remaja Radin Intan Bandar Lampung sudah dilakukan dan berjalan dengan cukup baik. Hal ini terlihat dari perubahan positif pada remaja binaan, seperti mulai mengenali arah karir, meningkatnya rasa percaya diri, serta memiliki bekal keterampilan untuk bersaing di dunia kerja. Sehingga bimbingan karir ini memberikan dampak positif terhadap kesiapan kerja remaja. Dengan hal ini diharapkan remaja mampu mandiri akan karir nya, bermanfaat bagi masyarakat dan memperkecil tingkat permasalahan sosial. Kata Kunci : Bimbingan Karir, Kesiapan Kerja, Remaja Binaan. ABSTRACT Adolescence is an important stage in the formation of a person's character and future. However, there are still many teenagers in Indonesia, especially in Lampung Province, who drop out of school due to various factors such as economic conditions, social environment, and lack of access to education, causing many teenagers to not have the opportunity to develop their potential properly. This condition has an impact on the low work readiness of teenagers, such as minimal work skills, lack of career information, ignorance in determining career choices that suit their interests and talents, and feeling afraid of facing the world of work. Therefore, strategic efforts are needed to equip teenagers with education and skills through non-formal education, one of which is through career guidance services. UPTD Social Services for Youth Development Radin Intan Bandar Lampung is present as an institution that provides career guidance services and skills training for drop-out teenagers so that they are able to recognize their potential, develop skills, and plan their careers in a more focused manner. Based on these problems, this study was formulated to answer how the implementation of career guidance in improving the work readiness of teenagers at UPTD Social Services for Youth Development Radin Intan Bandar Lampung, with the aim of thoroughly knowing the implementation process and its impact on the work readiness of fostered teenagers. This research is a field research, which is descriptive qualitative. The data sources in this study amounted to 10 people, including 7 fostered teenagers who do not have optimal work readiness, 2 mentors, 1 social worker. The data collection techniques used are interviews, observations, and documentation. Then the data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that in the implementation of career guidance at the Radin Intan Bandar Lampung Youth Social Services UPTD, it is carried out through several stages, namely the initial stage in the form of an assessment of adolescent needs, the program planning stage, the activity implementation stage, the resocialization and termination stage, and the evaluation stage. Based on the results of the study, it can be seen that the implementation of career guidance at the Radin Intan Bandar Lampung Youth Social Services UPTD has been carried out and is running quite well. This can be seen from the positive changes in the fostered adolescents, such as starting to recognize career directions, increasing self-confidence, and having the skills to compete in the world of work. So that this career guidance has a positive impact on adolescent work readiness. With this, it is hoped that adolescents will be able to be independent in their careers, be useful to society and reduce the level of social problems.
