Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui strategi peningkatan akreditasi pada lembaga pendidikan di MTs Negeri 2 Bandar Lampung. Fokus penelitian ini diarahkan pada upaya madrasah dalam mempertahankan dan meningkatkan mutu lembaga pendidikan agar mencapai akreditasi yang unggul sesuai standar Badan Akreditasi Nasional Sekolah/Madrasah (BAN-S/M). Penelitian ini dilandasi oleh teori strategi menurut Pearce dan Robinson yang menekankan tiga unsur utama dalam perumusan strategi, yaitu konsistensi, realistik, dan kecermatan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Sumber data terdiri dari kepala madrasah, wakil kepala bidang kurikulum, dan staf tata usaha. Analisis data menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi peningkatan akreditasi di MTs Negeri 2 Bandar Lampung dilakukan melalui tiga pendekatan utama. Pertama, strategi konsisten, yaitu pelaksanaan program kerja madrasah yang berorientasi pada mutu lulusan. Kedua, strategi realistik, yaitu menyesuaikan program peningkatan mutu dengan kemampuan sumber daya manusia dan sarana prasarana yang tersedia. Ketiga, strategi cermat, yaitu melaksanakan pengelolaan guru dan tenaga kependidikan secara profesional, terukur, dan berkelanjutan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa MTs Negeri 2 Bandar Lampung telah berhasil menerapkan strategi peningkatan akreditasi secara efektif dan berkelanjutan. Strategi tersebut berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan mutu pendidikan, profesionalisme tenaga pendidik, serta penguatan citra lembaga sebagai madrasah unggul. Kata Kunci : Strategi, Akreditasi, Lembaga Pendidikan, MTs Negeri 2 Bandar Lampung ii ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the strategies for improving accreditation in educational institutions at MTs Negeri 2 Bandar Lampung. The focus of this research is directed at the school’s efforts to maintain and enhance the quality of education to achieve excellent accreditation in accordance with the standards of the National Accreditation Board for Schools/Madrasahs (BAN-S/M). This research is based on the strategic theory proposed by Pearce and Robinson, which emphasizes three main components in strategy formulation: consistency, realism, and accuracy. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with a case study method. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The data sources consisted of the principal, vice principal for curriculum, and administrative staff. The data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study show that the strategy for improving accreditation at MTs Negeri 2 Bandar Lampung is carried out through three main approaches. First, the consistent strategy, programs that focus on continuous improvement of graduates’ quality. Second, the realistic strategy, which adjusts the quality improvement programs to the actual conditions of human resources and available facilities. Third, the accurate strategy, which involves professional, systematic, and sustainable management of teachers and educational staff. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that MTs Negeri 2 Bandar Lampung has successfully implemented accreditation improvement strategies effectively and sustainably. These strategies have contributed to improving the quality of education, teacher professionalism, and strengthening the institution’s image as an excellent Islamic school.
