Abstract
Kata Kunci: Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT), Keterampilan Berpikir Kritis, Pendidikan Pancasila. iii ABSTRACT This study focuses on the low critical thinking skills of students at MIN 5 Lampung in Pancasila Education learning. Pre-study results indicate that students experience difficulty in critical thinking, tend to rely on memorization, and struggle when faced with evaluations that require in-depth thought. These problems are largely caused by the lack of effective learning models. To address this, this study implemented the Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) learning model with the aim of improving the critical thinking skills of fourth-grade students. The method used was a Quasi-Experimental design with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design, where the study population included all fourth-grade students at MIN 5 Lampung in the 2025/2026 academic year. The sample consisted of class IV A as the experimental group and class IV D as the control group. Critical thinking skills data were collected using a validated essay test instrument. Data were analyzed quantitatively using a t-test (independent t-test) to compare the average critical thinking skills of the two groups after treatment, with a significance level of p-value <α (0.05). The analysis results showed a significant increase in students' critical thinking skills, with a t-test value of 0.001 < 0.05, thus rejecting the null hypothesis. This study concluded that the implementation of the Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) model had a significant effect on students' critical thinking skills. Keywords: Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT), Critical Thinking Skills, Pancasila Education.
