Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membangun sistem informasi Point of Sale (POS) dan pemesanan berbasis QR Code Ordering yang terintegrasi dengan payment gateway pada Kafe Kubokopi. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasarkan pada masih digunakannya metode manual dalam proses pemesanan dan pencatatan transaksi, yang mengakibatkan sering terjadinya kesalahan pencatatan, keterlambatan pelayanan, dan ketidakefisienan dalam pengelolaan data penjualan. Dalam penelitian ini digunakan teori sistem informasi sebagai dasar pemahaman terhadap integrasi teknologi dalam mendukung manajemen operasional kafe, serta teori pengembangan perangkat lunak dengan pendekatan model Prototype. Metode yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan pendekatan model Prototype yang terdiri dari tahapan komunikasi, perancangan cepat, pembuatan prototipe, evaluasi, dan penyempurnaan sistem secara berulang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara dengan pengelola Kafe Kubokopi, studi pustaka, dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah terbentuknya sistem informasi berbasis web yang mampu memfasilitasi pelanggan untuk melakukan pemesanan secara mandiri melalui QR Code dan pembayaran baik tunai maupun digital dengan integrasi payment gateway Midtrans. Sistem ini dibangun menggunakan framework CodeIgniter 4 dengan database MySQL. Pengujian dilakukan menggunakan metode Blackbox Testing dan menunjukkan bahwa semua fitur berjalan sesuai fungsi, mulai dari pemesanan, pengecekan ketersediaan menu, hingga proses pembayaran daring. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa implementasi sistem informasi ini mampu meningkatkan efisiensi operasional, transparansi laporan, dan akurasi pencatatan data di Kafe Kubokopi, serta memberikan kemudahan akses layanan bagi pelanggan dan pihak manajemen secara real-time. ABSTRAC This study aims to design and develop a Point of Sale (POS) information system and QR Code Ordering-based ordering system integrated with a payment gateway at Kafe Kubokopi. The background of this research is based on the continued use of manual methods in the ordering and transaction recording process, which often leads to recording errors, service delays, and inefficiencies in sales data management. This research applies information system theory as the foundation for understanding technology integration in supporting café operational management, as well as software development theory using the Prototype model approach. The method employed is Research and Development (R&D) with a Prototype model approach consisting of communication, quick design, prototype creation, evaluation, and iterative system refinement stages. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews with Kafe Kubokopi management, literature review, and documentation. The result of this research is a web-based information system that enables customers to place orders independently via QR Code and make payments either in cash or digitally through the integration of the Midtrans payment gateway. The system was built using the CodeIgniter 4 framework with a MySQL database. Testing was conducted using the Blackbox Testing method, and the results show that all features function as intended, from ordering and menu availability checks to online payment processes. The conclusion of this study is that the implementation of this information system can improve operational efficiency, report transparency, and data recording accuracy at Kafe Kubokopi, while providing easy service access for both customers and management in real-time.
