Abstract

ABSTRAK Perpustakaan pada hakikatnya merupakan pusat sumber belajar dan sumber informasi bagi para pemakainya. Sebagai tempat kumpulan buku-buku yang dihimpun dan diorganisasikan sebagai media belajar, perpustakaan memiliki peran penting dalam mendukung proses pendidikan. Khususnya, perpustakaan perguruan tinggi berfungsi sebagai pusat pelayanan dan informasi yang lengkap bagi civitas akademika. Salah satu aspek yang dapat menarik minat pemustaka untuk berkunjung adalah kenyamanan perpustakaan itu sendiri. Namun, Perpustakaan Universitas Islam Negeri Raden Intan Lampung menghadapi masalah naik turunnya kunjungan pemustaka setiap bulannya, yang diduga dipengaruhi oleh faktor kenyamanan seperti kebersihan, suhu ruang, keamanan, dan pencahayaan. Kondisi ini berpotensi menurunkan frekuensi kunjungan pemustaka. Oleh karena itu, perlu dilakukan analisis terhadap tingkat kenyamanan pemustaka sebagai faktor penentu intensitas kunjungan, guna memberikan rekomendasi perbaikan yang dapat meningkatkan kenyamanan dan intenistas kunjungan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh tingkat kenyamanan terhadap intensitas kunjungan di Perpustakaan Universitas Islam Negeri Raden Intan Lampung. Sampel dalam penelitian ini diambil menggunakan teknik accidental sampling, Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang mengukur indikator tingkat kenyamanan dan intensitas kunjungan pemustaka. Metode yang digunakan yaitu penelitian kuantitatif dengan Analisis Structural Equation Modeling - Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kenyamanan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap intensitas kunjungan pemustaka di perpustakaan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh tingkat kenyamanan terhadap intenistas kunjungan pemustaka perpustakaan Univeristas Islam Negeri Raden Intan Lampung. Sehingga peningkatan kenyamanan perpustakaan sangat penting dalam mendukung produktivitas belajar dan meningkatkan frekuensi kunjungan pemustaka secara berkelanjutan. In particular, university libraries serve as comprehensive service and information centers for the academic community. One aspect that can attract users to visit is the comfort of the library itself. However, the Raden Intan State Islamic University Library in Lampung faces the issue of fluctuating user visits each month, which is thought to be influenced by comfort factors such as cleanliness, room temperature, security, and lighting. This condition has the potential to reduce the frequency of library visits. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze the level of user comfort as a determining factor in visit intensity, in order to provide recommendations for improvements that can increase comfort and visit intensity. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of comfort levels on the intensity of visits to the Raden Intan Lampung State Islamic University Library. The sample in this study was taken using accidental sampling techniques. Data was collected through questionnaires that measured indicators of comfort levels and the intensity of library visits. The method used was quantitative research with Structural Equation Modeling - Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) analysis. The results of the study showed that the level of comfort had a positive and significant effect on the intensity of visits by library users. Based on these research results, it can be concluded that there is an influence of the level of comfort on the intensity of library user visits to the Raden Intan State Islamic University Lampung library. Therefore, improving the comfort of the library is very important in supporting learning productivity and increasing the frequency of library user visits in a sustainable manner.
