Abstract

ABSTRAK Proses komunikasi dalam organisasi mencakup pertukaran informasi antara individu maupun kelompok, baik secara formal maupun informal, vertikal maupun horizontal. Komunikasi yang efektif dapat meningkatkan koordinasi, memperkuat budaya organisasi, serta memfasilitasi pengambilan keputusan yang tepat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji bagaimana proses komunikasi organisasi yang diterapkan pengurus IPPNU MTs Mathla’ul Anwar Landbaw Gisting Tanggamus mampu menumbuhkan jiwa kepemimpinan siswa. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan penulis dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian lapangan (Field Research). Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif dan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Data primer diperoleh langsung dengan menggunakan metode snowball sampling dan diperoleh 6 informan yang terdiri dari Pembina, Kepala Sekolah, Ketua IPPNU, dan 3 anggota IPPNU MTs Mathla’ul Anwar Landbaw Gisting Tanggamus yang masih aktif, sedangkan data sekunder diperoleh dari buku, dokumentasi, laporan kegiatan organisasi IPPNU, jurnal, peneliti terdahulu yang relevan, dan beberapa kegiatan IPPNU seperti kumpulan rutin atau kegiatan lainnya. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Ikatan Pelajar Putri Nahdatul Ulama (IPPNU) MTs Mathla’ul Anwar Landbaw Gisting Tanggamus telah menerapkan proses komunikasi organisasi untuk menumbuhkan jiwa kepemimpinan yaitu dapat dilihat dari hasil wawancara yang telah penulis lakukan dengan pembina IPPNU, menghasilkan bahwa pembina IPPNU telah melakukan proses komunikasi organisasi yaitu dengan menggunakan komunikasi horizontal, yang dimana komunikasi ini berlangsung dari anggota ke anggota yang lainnya, lalu komunikasi vertikal, komunikasi antara atasan kepada bawahan, Kata Kunci: Proses Komunikasi Organisasi, Ikatan Pelajar Putri Nahdatul Ulama, Jiwa Kepemimpinan. ABSTRACT The communication process within an organization involves the exchange of information between individuals and groups, both formally and informally, vertically and horizontally. Effective communication can improve coordination, strengthen organizational culture, and facilitate sound decision-making. This study aims to examine how the organizational communication process implemented by the administrators of IPPNU MTs Mathla'ul Anwar Landbaw Gisting Tanggamus can foster leadership skills in students. The type of research used by the author in this study is field research. This study is descriptive and uses a qualitative approach. Primary data was obtained directly using the snowball sampling method and obtained from 6 informants consisting of the Advisor, Principal, Chair of IPPNU, and 3 active members of IPPNU MTs Mathla'ul Anwar Landbaw Gisting Tanggamus. while secondary data was obtained from books, documentation, IPPNU organizational activity reports, journals, relevant previous researchers, and several IPPNU activities such as routine gatherings or other activities. The results of this study indicate that the Nahdatul Ulama Female Student Association (IPPNU) MTs Mathla 'ul Anwar Landbaw Gisting Tanggamus has implemented an organizational communication process to foster leadership skills, as seen from the results of interviews conducted by the author with IPPNU advisors, which show that IPPNU advisors have implemented an organizational communication process using horizontal communication, which is communication between members, and vertical communication, which is communication between superiors and subordinates.
