Abstract

ABSTRAK Hubungan Antara Personal Value dan Berpikir Kritis Dengan Pemecahan Masalah Oleh : Afaf Mufidah Desna Arsista Masa dewasa awal adalah masa pencarian, penemuan, pemantapan dan masa reproduktif, yaitu suatu masa yang penuh dengan masalah dan ketegangan emosional, periode isolasi sosial, periode komitmen dan masa ketergantungan, perubahan nilai-nilai, kreativitas dan penyesuaian diri pada pola hidup yang baru. Tidak dipungkiri dalam masa dewasa awal sangat rentan mengalami permasalahan, hal ini bisa saja dipengaruhi oleh faktor internal maupun eksternal. Oleh karena itu. individu harus bisa menyelesaiakannya dengan sebaik mungkin. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah dewasa awal berusia 18-25 tahun. Sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 100 dewasa awal yang dipilih menggunakan metode simple random sampling. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner. Instrumen yang digunakan terdiri dari tiga buah skala yaitu skala personal value dengan koefisien reliabilitas 0.901, skala berpikir kritis dengan koefisien reliabilitas 0.922 dan skala pemecahan masalah dengan koefisien reliabilitas 0.815. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi berganda dengan bantuan software JASP 0.18.3.0. for Windows. Berdasarkan hasil analisis yang telah dilakukan, terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara personal value dan kemampuan berpikir kritis dengan pemecahan masalah pada dewasa awal nilai koefisien korelasi (R) sebesar 0.414. Variabel personal value memberikan sumbangan efektif sebesar 8,4% terhadap pemecahan masalah dengan nilai koefisien korelasi (R) sebesar 0.325. Variabel kemampuan berpikir kritis memberikan sumbangan efektif sebesar 9,3% terhadap pemecahan masalah dengan hasil koefisien korelasi (R) sebesar 0,346. ABSTRACT The Relationship Between Personal Value and Critical Thinking With Problem Solving By: Afaf Mufidah Desna Arsista Early adulthood is a period of searching, discovery, consolidation, and reproduction, a time filled with problems and emotional tensions, a period of social isolation, commitment, and dependency, a change in values, creativity and adjustment to new lifestyles. It is undeniable that early adulthood is very vulnerable to problems, which may be influenced by internal as well as external factors. Therefore, individuals must be able to resolve them as best as possible. The population in this study is early adults aged 18-25 years. The sample used consists of 100 early adults selected using simple random sampling method. The data collection method used in this study is a questionnaire. The instruments used consist of three scales: the personal value scale with a reliability coefficient of 0.901, the critical thinking scale with a reliability coefficient of 0.922, and the problem solving scale with a reliability coefficient of 0.815. The analysis method used is multiple regression analysis with the aid of JASP 0.18.3.0 software for Windows.. Based on the analysis that has been conducted, there is a significant positive relationship between personal value and critical thinking ability with problem-solving in early adulthood, with a correlation coefficient (R) value of 0.414. The personal value variable contributes an effective 8.4% to problem-solving with a correlation coefficient (R) of 0.325.
