Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat hubungan antara place attachment dengan pro environmental behavior dan apakah ada hubungan antara eco anxiety dengan pro environmental behavior. Subjek dalam penelitian ini merupakan Gen Z dengan rentang usia 12 hingga 27 tahun, memiliki kepedulian dengan lingkungan, dan merupakan warga Negara Republik Indonesia. Jenis penelitian inimenggunakan metode kuantitatif, pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel 389 responden. Analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) dengan menggunakan software Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modelling (SmartPLS 4.0). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa place attachment memiliki hubungan positif dengan pro environmental behavior. Begitupun eco anxiety, memiliki hubungan positif dengan pro environmental behavior. Penelitian ini diharapkan memberi sumbangan pengetahuan dan menumbuhkan sikap pro environmental behavior bagi seluruh elemen masyarakat terutama Gen Z, serta menjadi salahsatu masukan bagi pemerintah pemangku kebijakan dalam membuat kebijakanyang mendorong tumbuhnya sikap pro environmental behavior. Kata Kunci: Pro lingkungan, eco anxiety, place attachment, psikologi lingkungan xiv ABSTRACT This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between place attachment and pro-environmental behavior and whether there is a relationship between eco-anxiety and pro-environmental behavior. The subjects in this study were Gen Z with an age range of 12 to 27 years, who care about the environment, and are citizens of the Republic of Indonesia. This type of research uses a quantitative method, a purposive sampling method with a sample size of 389 respondents. The data analysis of this study used Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) and Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling (SmartPLS 4.0) software. The results of this study indicate that place attachment has a positive relationship with pro�environmental behavior. Likewise, eco-anxiety has a positive relationship with pro-environmental behavior. This study is expected to contribute knowledge and foster a pro-environmental behavior attitude for all elements of society, especially Gen Z, as well as being one of the inputs for government policymakers in making policies that encourage the growth of pro-environmental behavior attitudes.
