Abstract

ABSTRAK Minat baca merupakan salah satu faktor penting dalam mendukung proses pembelajaran siswa, namun kebiasaan membaca cenderung menurun akibat tergantikan oleh aktivitas digital lainnya. Untuk mengatasi hal ini, Perpustakaan SMA Negeri 1 Bandar Lampung menyediakan koleksi e-book yang dapat diakses secara online melalui berbagai platform, termasuk Perpustakaan Nasional, Perpustakaan Bank Indonesia, dan perpustakaan sekolah sendiri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pengaruh pemanfaatan koleksi e-book terhadap minat baca siswa. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif dan analisis regresi linier sederhana. Responden penelitian adalah siswa SMA Negeri 1 Bandar Lampung yang mengakses koleksi e-book. Variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini adalah pemanfaatan koleksi e-book, sedangkan variabel terikat adalah minat baca siswa. Pemanfaatan e-book dianalisis melalui beberapa indikator, yang mencakup intensitas penggunaan e-book, frekuensi dan durasi membaca, serta jumlah dan variasi bahan bacaan. Analisis deskriptif menunjukkan bahwa siswa memiliki intensitas penggunaan e-book yang tinggi, dengan skor total 1.357 dan persentase antara 72%–80%. Frekuensi dan durasi membaca juga tergolong cukup hingga sangat tinggi, dengan skor total 1.492 dan persentase 75%–92%. Sementara itu, jumlah dan variasi bahan bacaan yang diakses siswa menunjukkan minat baca yang luas dan beragam, dengan skor total 1.640 dan persentase 90%–92%. Sehingga pemanfaatan koleksi e-book di perpustakaan sekolah berkontribusi secara nyata dalam meningkatkan minat baca siswa melalui kemudahan akses, keberagaman koleksi, penyediaan bahan bacaan yang beragam, serta fitur interaktif dalam media digital. Penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya inovasi layanan perpustakaan berbasis digital untuk mendukung literasi dan kebiasaan membaca pada generasi digital. To address this issue, the library of SMA Negeri 1 Bandar Lampung provides a collection of e-books that can be accessed online through various platforms, including the National Library, Bank Indonesia Library, and the school's own library. This study aims to evaluate the impact of utilizing e-book collections on students' reading interest. The research uses a quantitative approach with descriptive methods and simple linear regression analysis. The respondents are students of SMA Negeri 1 Bandar Lampung who access the e-book collections. The independent variable in this study is the utilization of e-book collections, while the dependent variable is students’ reading interest. The utilization of e-books is analyzed through several indicators, including the intensity of e-book usage, reading frequency and duration, as well as the amount and variety of reading materials. Descriptive analysis shows that students have a high intensity of e-book usage, with a total score of 1,357 and a percentage ranging from 72% to 80%. Reading frequency and duration are also considered moderate to very high, with a total score of 1,492 and a percentage of 75%–92%. Meanwhile, the amount and variety of reading materials accessed by students reflect a broad and diverse reading interest, with a total score of 1,640 and a percentage of 90% 92%. Therefore, the utilization of e-book collections in the school library contributes significantly to increasing students' reading interest through easy access, diverse collections, the availability of varied reading materials, and interactive features in digital media.
