Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan manajemen kelas dalam meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran di MTs Al-Hikmah Kedaton Bandar Lampung. Fokus penelitian diarahkan pada strategi guru dalam mengatur kelas, bentuk implementasi manajemen kelas, serta hambatan yang muncul dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif, sedangkan teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan manajemen kelas di MTs Al-Hikmah Kedaton Bandar Lampung mencakup penyusunan rencana pembelajaran, penataan lingkungan fisik kelas, pengelolaan interaksi antara guru dan siswa, serta pemanfaatan metode pembelajaran yang beragam. Hambatan yang dijumpai antara lain keterbatasan fasilitas, perbedaan karakteristik peserta didik, serta waktu pembelajaran yang relatif singkat. Meski demikian, guru berupaya menanganinya dengan langkah-langkah adaptif sehingga proses belajar mengajar dapat berlangsung lebih efektif. Dengan demikian, pengelolaan kelas yang sistematis dan terarah terbukti mendukung peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran. ABSTRACT This study aims to describe the implementation of classroom management in improving learning effectiveness at MTs Al-Hikmah Kedaton Bandar Lampung. The focus of the research is directed at teachers’ strategies in managing classrooms, the forms of classroom management implementation, and the challenges faced in the learning process. This study employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive method, while data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that the implementation of classroom management at MTs Al-Hikmah Kedaton Bandar Lampung covers lesson planning, the arrangement of the physical classroom environment, the management of teacher-student interactions, and the use of various teaching methods. The challenges identified include limited facilities, differences in students’ characteristics, and time constraints in learning activities. Nevertheless, teachers attempt to overcome these obstacles through adaptive strategies, allowing the learning process to run more effectively. Thus, well-planned and structured classroom management has been proven to play a significant role in enhancing the effectiveness of the learning process.
