Abstract

ABSTRAK Hubungan Antara Regulasi Emosi dengan Konflik Interpersonal pada Individu yang Menjalani Long Distance Marriage Oleh : Adin Nurkholifah Individu yang menjalani hubungan pernikahan seringkali menghadapi berbagai macam tantangan, seperti kondisi tertentu yang terkadang mengharuskan terpisah oleh jarak. Kendala utama dalam hubungan pernikahan jarak jauh memicu berbagai konsekuensi kompleks, seperti konflik interpersonal. Konflik interpersonal adalah pertentangan antar individu dengan individu lain karena kepentingan, keinginan, atau tujuan yang berbeda. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara regulasi emosi dengan konflik interpersonal pada individu yang menjalani long distance marriage. Subjek pada penelitian ini berjumlah 100 individu yang menjalani long distance marriage. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan skala konflik interpersonal sejumlah 16 aitem dengan reliabilitas 0.870 dan skala regulasi emosi (ERQ) sejumlah 8 aitem dengan reliabilitas 0.773. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis korelasi product moment dengan bantuan software SPSS 25.0 for windows. Hasil analisis menunjukkan nilai koefisien korelasi R = 0,507 artinya terdapat hubungan signifikan negatif, yang berarti bahwa semakin tinggi regulasi emosi, maka semakin rendah tingkat konflik interpersonal. Sebaliknya semakin rendah regulasi emosi, maka semakin tinggi terjadinya konflik interpersonal. Sumbangan efektif kontribusi regulasi emosi terhadap konflik interpersonal pada pasangan LDM sebesar 25,7%, sisanya dipengaruhi faktor lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini. The main obstacle in a long distance marriage relationship triggers various complex consequences, such as interpersonal conflict. Interpersonal conflict is a conflict between individuals with other individuals because of different interests, desires, or goals. This study aims to determine the relationship between emotional regulation and interpersonal conflict in individuals undergoing long distance marriage. The subjects in this study were 100 individuals undergoing long distance marriage. This study is a quantitative study with a sampling technique used is purposive sampling. The data collection method in this study uses an interpersonal conflict scale of 16 items with a reliability of 0.870 and an emotional regulation scale (ERQ) of 8 items with a reliability of 0.773. The data analysis technique in this study uses product moment correlation analysis with the help of SPSS 25.0 for Windows software. The results of the analysis show a correlation coefficient value of R = -0.507, meaning that there is a significant negative relationship, which means that the higher the emotional regulation, the lower the level of interpersonal conflict. Conversely, the lower the emotional regulation, the higher the occurrence of interpersonal conflict. The effective contribution of emotional regulation to interpersonal conflict in LDM couples is 25.7%, the rest is influenced by other factors not examined in this study.
