Abstract

ABSTRAK Resiliensi Pada Mahasiswi Korban Kekerasan Seksual Yang Mengalami Victim Blaming Oleh : Anggi Velyana Kekerasan seksual yang dialami mahasiswi merupakan permasalahan serius yang membawa dampak luas pada kondisi psikologis, sosial, maupun akademik korban. Situasi ini semakin berat ketika korban tidak hanya menghadapi trauma, tetapi juga mendapat victim blaming yang membuat mereka merasa dipersalahkan atas kejadian tersebut. Namun, sebagian mahasiswi mampu menunjukkan daya lenting untuk tetap bangkit dan melanjutkan kehidupan. Hal ini memperlihatkan bahwa resiliensi korban kekerasan seksual merupakan proses panjang dan kompleks yang layak ditelaah secara mendalam. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menggambarkan proses resiliensi pada mahasiswi korban kekerasan seksual yang mengalami victim blaming. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara semi-terstruktur, catatan lapangan, serta analisis dokumen, kemudian diolah dengan bantuan perangkat lunak NVivo 12 Pro. Penelitian ini melibatkan tiga subjek mahasiswi yang mengalami kekerasan seksual disertai pengalaman victim blaming. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa resiliensi korban kekerasan seksual yang mengalami victim blaming mencakup empat aspek utama yaitu reaching out, regulasi emosi, kontrol impuls dan analisis kausal. Dari keempat aspek tersebut, reaching out tampak paling menonjol karena subjek berani mencari dukungan sosial untuk mengurangi rasa terasing. Aspek regulasi emosi, kontrol impuls, dan analisis kausal juga berperan penting dalam resiliensi subjek. Dengan demikian, resilensi pada mahasiswi korban kekerasan seksual merupakan proses berkelanjutan yang dibentuk oleh kombinasi faktor internal dan eksternal, serta menjadi modal utama dalam pemulihan dari trauma dan stigma sosial. ABSTRACT Sexual violence experienced by female college students is a serious problem that has profound impacts on their psychological, social, and academic well-being. This situation becomes more severe when victims not only face trauma but also experience victim blaming, which causes them to feel responsible for the incident. Nevertheless, some students demonstrate the capacity to rise and continue their lives. This indicates that resilience among survivors of sexual violence is a long and complex process that requires in-depth understanding. The purpose of this study is to describe the resilience process among female college students who are victims of sexual violence and experience victim blaming. Data were collected through semi structured interviews, observations, and document analysis, and processed using NVivo 12 Pro software. The study involved three female student participants who experienced sexual violence accompanied by victim-blaming experiences. The findings reveal that the resilience of sexual violence victims who experience victim blaming encompasses four main aspects: reaching out, emotion regulation, impulse control, and causal analysis. Among these, reaching out appears most prominent, as participants actively sought social support to reduce feelings of isolation. Emotion regulation, impulse control, and causal analysis also played significant roles in shaping resilience. Thus, resilience among female student survivors of sexual violence is understood as a continuous process shaped by a combination of internal and external factors, serving as a vital foundation for recovery from trauma and social stigma.
