Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran motivasi belajar peserta didik SMK Minhajuth Thullab Al-Amin Mesuji Lampung dan implementasi layanan bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik diskusi dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi langsung, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari guru bimbingan dan konseling serta siswa SMK Minhajuth Thullab Al-Amin Mesuji Lampung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa motivasi belajar siswa tergolong rendah, terlihat dari kurangnya ketekunan dalam menyelesaikan tugas akademik, rendahnya daya tahan siswa dalam menghadapi kesulitan belajar, dan kurangnya minat dalam mengikuti kegiatan pembelajaran. Implementasi layanan bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik diskusi dilakukan melalui tiga tahap, yaitu tahap perencanaan meliputi identifikasi masalah dan membangun rapport, tahap pelaksanaan dengan penggunaan teknik diskusi aktif seperti pertanyaan Socrates dan reframing, serta tahap evaluasi berupa pemantauan rutin dan refleksi perkembangan siswa. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah implementasi layanan bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik diskusi efektif dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa melalui pendekatan yang interaktif dan partisipatif. Saran dari penelitian ini agar sekolah terus mengembangkan layanan bimbingan kelompok dengan dukungan penuh dari guru, siswa, orang tua, serta peneliti berikutnya untuk mendapatkan hasil yang lebih maksimal. Kata Kunci: Motivasi Belajar, Bimbingan Kelompok, Teknik Diskusi, Siswa SMK Minhajuth Thullab Al-Amin. ii ABSTRACT This study aims to describe the learning motivation of students at SMK Minhajuth Thullab Al-Amin Mesuji Lampung and to explain the implementation of group counseling services using discussion techniques to improve students' learning motivation. The research employed a descriptive qualitative method, with data collection techniques including in-depth interviews, direct observation, and documentation. The research subjects consisted of the guidance and counseling teacher and students of SMK Minhajuth Thullab Al-Amin Mesuji Lampung. The results showed that the students' learning motivation was relatively low, indicated by a lack of perseverance in completing academic tasks, low resilience in facing learning difficulties, and limited interest in participating in learning activities. The implementation of group counseling services using discussion techniques was carried out in three stages: the planning stage, which included problem identification and rapport building; the implementation stage, which involved active discussion techniques such as Socratic questioning and reframing; and the evaluation stage, which included regular monitoring and reflection on students' progress. The study concludes that the implementation of group counseling services using discussion techniques was effective in enhancing students' learning motivation through interactive and participatory approaches. It is recommended that the school continue to develop group counseling services with full support from teachers, students, parents, and future researchers to achieve optimal outcomes.
