Abstract

ABSTRAK Indonesia merupakan produsen utama Crude Palm Oil (CPO) dunia, namun volume ekspor CPO menunjukkan fluktuasi yang dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor eksternal, seperti dinamika harga global dan nilai tukar mata uang asing. Fenomena ini memunculkan pertanyaan mengenai sejauh mana kedua faktor tersebut memengaruhi kinerja ekspor CPO Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh harga CPO dunia dan kurs USD/IDR terhadap volume ekspor CPO Indonesia selama periode 2014-2023 dalam perspektif ekonomi Islam. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, penelitian ini menerapkan regresi Ordinary Least Squares (OLS) terhadap data runtut waktu yang bersumber dari BPS, GAPKI, Ditjenbun, Bank Indonesia, dan IndexMundi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan secara parsial harga CPO dunia berpengaruh negatif tidak signifikan dan kurs USD/IDR berpengaruh positif tidak signifikan dan secara simultan kedua variabel tersebut tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap volume ekspor CPO Indonesia. Dalam perspektif ekonomi Islam, prinsip keadilan (al-adl), transparansi (as-shafafiyyah) dan larangan terhadap spekulasi (gharar dan maysir) memainkan peran penting dalam menjamin praktik perdagangan yang adil dalam industri CPO. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan pengembangan model yang lebih komprehensif dengan mempertimbangkan variabel tambahan serta kajian mendalam terhadap penerapan prinsip-prinsip perdagangan syariah dalam industri CPO. BSTRACT Indonesia is the world's leading producer of Crude Palm Oil (CPO); however, its CPO export volume has fluctuated due to various external factors, such as global price dynamics and foreign exchange rates. This phenomenon raises questions about the extent to which these two factors affect Indonesia's CPO export performance. This study aims to analyze the influence of global CPO prices and the USD/IDR exchange rate on Indonesia's CPO export volume during the 2014–2023 period from an Islamic economic perspective. Employing a quantitative approach, this paper utilizes Ordinary Least Squares (OLS) regression analysis on time series data sourced from BPS, GAPKI, Ditjenbun, Bank Indonesia, and IndexMundi. The findings indicate that, partially, global CPO prices have an insignificant negative effect, while the USD/IDR exchange rate has an insignificant positive effect on Indonesia’s CPO export volume. Simultaneously, both variables do not have a significant effect. From an Islamic economic perspective, the principles of justice (al-‘adl), transparency (as-shafafiyyah), and the prohibition of speculation (gharar and maysir) play a crucial role in ensuring fair trade practices within the CPO industry. This study recommends the development of a more comprehensive model by including additional variables and conducting a deeper examination of the application of sharia trade principles in the CPO industry.
