Abstract

ABSTRAK Hubungan Antara Intimacy dan Komunikasi Interpersonal dengan Kecemburuan Romantis Pada Pasangan Muda Oleh: Wardani Sulistiya Menikah di usia muda merupakan salah satu langkah pemenuhan tugas perkembangan dewasa awal. Namun, kondisi emosional yang seringkali tidak stabil memunculkan permasalahan dalam hubungan, salah satunya yaitu kecemburuan romantis. Kecemburuan ini dapat menjadi pemicu konflik yang berpotensi merusak keharmonisan hubungan apabila tidak dikelola dengan baik. Selain itu, kecemburuan romantis juga sering kali dipengaruhi oleh seberapa dekat dan terbukanya komunikasi antar pasangan, serta tingkat keintiman yang terjalin di antara keduanya. Kecemburuan romantis dipengaruhi oleh faktor internal maupun eksternal. Faktor internal salah satunya yaitu Intimacy dan faktor eksternal salah satunya komunikasi interpersonal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara Intimacy dan komunikasi interpersonal dengan kecemburuan romantis pada indvidu yang menikah di usia muda. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dan teknik sampling yang digunakan yaitu purposive sampling. Subjek yang didapatkan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 50 orang. Pengumpulan data menggunakan 3 skala yaitu kecemburuan romantis sebanyak 19 aitem (α = 0,942), skala Intimacy sebanyak 30 aitem (α = 0,948) dan skala komunikasi interpersonal sebanyak 26 aitem (α = 0,933). Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis regresi berganda dengan bantuan software JASP 0.18.3.0 for windows. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai r = 0,796 dengan p < 0,001, artinya terdapat hubungan yang siginifikan antara variabel Intimacy dan komunikasi interpersonal dengan kecemburuan romantis pasangan muda dengan sumbangan efektif sebesar 63,3% (R2 = 0,633), sisanya dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak diteliti penelitian ini. However, emotional conditions that are often unstable can lead to problems in relationships, one of which is romantic jealousy. Jealousy can trigger conflicts that have the potential to damage relationship harmony if not managed properly. Besides that, romantic jealousy is often influenced by how open the communication between partners is, as well as the level of Intimacy that exists in the relationship. Romantic jealousy is influenced by both internal and external factors. One of the internal factors is Intimacy, and an external factor is interpersonal communication. This study aims to determine the relationship between Intimacy and interpersonal communication with romantic jealousy in young couples. The research method used is quantitative with purposive sampling technique. The total number of participants in this study was 50 people. Data collection used several scales: romantic jealousy scale with 19 items (α = 0.942), Intimacy scale with 30 items (α = 0.949), and interpersonal communication scale with 25 items (α = 0.933). The data analysis technique used in this research is multiple regression analysis assisted by JASP 0.18.3.0 for Windows. The research results showed R = 0.795 with p < 0.001, indicating a significant relationship between the variables of Intimacy and interpersonal communication with romantic jealousy in young couples, with an effective contribution of 63.3% (R² = 0.633), while the remaining is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.
